Ineffective again. He doesn't seem to be able to take anyone on, can't cross and seems to only make the odd short pass, trying to get rid of the ball as quick as he can. Perhaps this is a step too far too soon or he is just some sort of show pony?

Typically LAZY again too. Iys not just that he didn't do anything, its the fact he didn't even TRY to do anything.

I think he's been told to play prompt and sensible passes rather than take on 3 defenders until finally losing the ball and the team their momentum. He has the ability to go around players, but while his team-mates watch and the opposition get back and mark/defend.

Last night, when he decided to move into a more forward position to try and make an impression, he got subbed. So, he didn't hardly see the ball on his side, then when he did try to change the situation he got replaced.

Unfortunately for him, he's a difficult player to have in a team - despite having individual skills.
Somehow expecting him to rescue Turkey at some strange point somewhere in this tournament. Buddha knows that team has scraped through this far on desperate and tenuous lifelines.
