bloody hope not, best centre back we have far better than Hawkins. Will be a huge loss and will go on to play at a far better level than us. Adams will have messed up bad if this is all true.

surely we all thought that with the additions of Virgo and Hawkins that we would cash in .......Christ how many center halves do we need when it is quite plain that we need strengh in other areas.........we it seems have no striker that MA trusts to sit on the bench...........

Can you blame him. The guy has obvious class and yet he is made to play against Whitehawk in the reserves!

Really hope he stays and breaks into the team this year.

Agreed..and if it's true that Adams doesn't like Lynch all I can say is the man hasn't got much of an eye for talent. Adams is apparently willing to let Lynch go but doggedly hangs on to Mayo and Hart. Unbelievable. If we let Lynch go for anything less than £750K, we'll have been well and truly mugged. Just watch him take the Championship by storm.

Bloody hell do I feel pissed off with this news. I hope it's just idle speculation.

Wouldn't have thought we would turn that down. Wouldn't actually have thought Forest would pay that much considering Joel hasn't been at the top of his game for the last season or so. Quality player, would love to see him stay.

Spot on !

Happy to see Lynch stay to see if he can fulfil his potential. But we are looking to go up this season - central defence playing well and with good cover. Would rather have the 500k than Lynch in order to get decent cover for the front two and/or wide midfield.

WW has an agenda about Lynch and will always bang on and on about how good he is - he'll never see it differently. The rest of us know that Elphick and The Hawk are doing a great job.

I think if we are looking to establish ourselves as a Championship club within the next few years, then we need players of Lynch's class.

The worst thing Micky could do is lose Lynch, although Hawkins/Elphick are probably the best option for now. I think Micky needs to jsut reassure Lynch that he does have a future at the club.. and is in his plans.

Agreed.

That will take some quality man management skills though.

Lynch is young, must know full well he has talent and obviously will be wanting to play regular first team football. The fact that he'd already 'broken into the first team' will make it hard for him to now put up with a spot of bench warming until his time comes again. He must know full well that he'd get regular first team football at virtually any other league one club right now with no problem at all.

Would be nice to keep promising players, but, we are a selling club and if the right bid comes in then we have to sell, sadly. :(

Why oh why do we never seem to get bids for Mayo, Hart and Loft?

Would be a real shame if we sell him.

I personally think he is fantastic, I'm not a huge fan of Richards and think Lynch could do a job on the left. He has pace, he's quicker on the ball then many of our players and has vision.
