Indeed, we are going to get injuries. Lamptey I suggest is a bit buggered, and I won’t be surprised if Solly is too, given his going to ground yesterday.Surreptitiously RDZ has manoeuvred Sarmiento, Enciso and Buonannotte into positions where they can start or at least be on the bench for a significant substitute appearances. All three seriously excite me. Sarmiento has had to bide his time, all the while gaining that valuable experience. Then you look at the likes of Moran and Hinshlewood being involved in the match day squad, you realise not only what depth we now have but also the well thought out strategy. With the impending fixture congestion you also can't help think that RDZ will use all these players even more as the end of the season approaches.
Exciting times.......

As already said there is one and only one path:-Will need a rest as the fixture congestion starts to unravel

Nah. He's got a lot of skills and tricks but the other 3 are rock solid throughout the game and always make the right choices.Play him in the 10 role and move Mc Allister back to partner Caicedo. I think is suits both of them better. A rotated midfield of Caicedo, Mac Allister and Gross will see us through the season
This may be controversial but I don't like Mac Allister as a 10. His finishing isn't good enough and his decision making leaves a bit to be desired on occasion.Nah. He's got a lot of skills and tricks but the other 3 are rock solid throughout the game and always make the right choices.
Hes got plenty of time to learn how to properly influence the full game as he's still young and can learn from them.
No flaming needed. I don't actually disagree in isolation, and I would agree entirely if we played a number 10 is it's traditional sense but his contribution is more than that. Watching him on Saturday, he seemed to be playing 4, 8 and 10 at intervals. Just as Groß seemed to play in 4, 8, 7, 3 and 2.This may be controversial but I don't like Mac Allister as a 10. Love him as a player just not sure that 10 is his best position. I feel like he is keeping the spot warm for one of the south American lads.
I offer his low goals and assist stats as evidence to back up what I see. 1 assist and 2 goals from open play this season.

Good luck with that:You realise you've just written:-

It's so hard not to fall in love with De Zerbi. His inevitable poaching is going to really hurtGood luck with that:
“He is one of the best players I have had in my career. He can play everywhere on the pitch and he is fantastic in terms of attitude and passion. He is clever and understands different tactical situations. I am lucky to have in my team.
“He is a leader like [Lewis] Dunk, [Adam] Lallana and [Danny] Welbeck. They are different but they are all positive guys. The secret of Brighton is not the coach or the style of play. The secret is the part players like Pascal play in the squad.”
RDZ, Saturday.
Agreed. Gross looks better in the more advanced role, AMc is better alongside Caicedo. This may be controversial but I don't like Mac Allister as a 10. His finishing isn't good enough and his decision making leaves a bit to be desired on occasion.

Change the name De Zerbi for Potter, and ther very same post could have been made around this time a season or so ago. It's so hard not to fall in love with De Zerbi. His inevitable poaching is going to really hurt
This time a year ago I think we'd just been whooped 0-3 by Burnley in a shocking performance after getting beat by Villa 0-2 in the game before. We then went on to get beat by Newcastle, Liverpool, and Spurs scoring zero goals in the process. We were turd in that period. It was only when Potter realised he had a player called Caceido on his bench that we managed to find some form at the end of the season and gave us the blessing that handed us Roberto in convincing Chelsea he was some sort of messiah.Change the name De Zerbi for Potter, and ther very same post could have been made around this time a season or so ago.
ffs never quite manages to get going so we can see what he can do the poor kidBroken metatarsal. Out 4-6 weeks... so will miss Wembley. Feel for him.
Guess we'd better book another trip there...
