my mum is riddled with cancer,she has been fighting it for a year,had all the treatments,but just after xmas,we were told,their was nothing else they can do,its a waiting game.Tbh i have no time for jade goody,how she has used her illness to make money beggars belief,i cant even bring myself to even read what shes been spouting

mother in law is terminally ill with cancer and cant believe anyone would want cameras around at that sort of time for the whole world to see.

I'd love to know whether the cancer was caused, whether in part or in full, by the stresses and strains in her life - most of which have been media-driven.

I feel sorry for her - she has always cut a rather pathetic figure in my view, and it seems the media need some sort of "chav nutter" to fill the space. It was people like MoH's who would have tuned in and moaned, purchased the papers with her face on it and called her a pig. But you have paid the money and now you hate her for it.

If nothing else you have to feel for her innocent children who will no doubt lose a loving mother.

Anyone who can wish this cruel disease on another human has clearly never lost anyone close to them through it or has very little compassion imo.

It begs a few questions here.
Who has ever said "money doesn't buy happiness", yet bother themselves about how much someone else is making from no perceivable talent?
Why should you care when it's not really your money is it?
Unless you make a STAND and don't renew your tv license if you feel they only show crappy people on it. Some common denominator IS watching Big Brother and the like... and they do have to cater for all tastes eh?

So, Jade Goody is talentless, made loads out of nothing, and is now making more from dying in the public eye. Did anyone here actually wish it on her Surf'n Turf??

To die of cancer is a horrible thing, but to die of cancer in your twenties, having a young family is tragic. Her detractors on here have stated that she is a big nothing, totally beneath contempt and probably cant read . Perhaps this is the reason that, not being particularly bright, she has attracted a leech like Max Clifford to handle her affairs and that is why her final days are being thrust into the spotlight. I'm sure that when you know your life is ending soon, and you're full of fear, your thought processes will be anything but rational. Cut her some slack, she may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she deserves to die with dignity even if Max and the other hangers on wont allow it.

Having been through the exact same situation with my mother-in-law for three years, watching her deteriorate slowly each day, starting off with having fits, then losing the ability to walk, then losing her short term memory, then going into long period of coma like sleep and then eventually dying in December 2007, I couldnt imaging sharing that horrible experience with cameras etc. Nobody, repeat nobody, no matter how dense, deserves to go through that. I feel sorry for her, but I feel sorry for her kids more, she has a 5 year old and a 4 year old, very similar to myself, and losing a parent will be very hard to take.
