I always, in a strange way, really respect people like Jade Goody and Jordan who manage to make fortunes without talent. Of course they don't deserve it, but it's the fault of the people who are willing to give them money, not their own. If I was in their position I'd do exactly the same. I think their "talent" is probably working the world of celebrity for every penny they can get, and they do that well. If there are mugs out there willing to line their pockets for getting their tits out or being a gobby chav on Big Brother then why shouldn't they take it?

But, to paraphrase above, if the vegetative saps that somehow derive enjoyment from watching she-turds like that wobbling and shouting around on the telly have their awareness of the importance of organ donation raised, that's good. I think chavs should be forced into liver donation if they've not already ruined theirs with WKD.

I agree that her contribution has been zero and I've never had any time for this extraordinarily dull individual. That said, she, her family and children will be going through hell at the moment. Is your description of her (even if valid) really worth posting in the circumstances? Give it a rest mate.

This thread is a disgrace to this football club and it's supporters. I bear no ill feeling towards Jade Goody, even though she once told me to stop playing with that shopping trolley (I'm in a wheel chair as some of you might know)

I must say I find Gareth's initial post patronising, and the volley of subsequent abuse thoroughly disheartening, although I'm of the opinion that Pot Noodle's post was perfectly correct, regarding NMH. We all know what stewards are like. They are jumped up little hitlers.

Personally, I can't stand the "celebrity" Jade Goody, but having had 2 experiences of family cancers, I wish her and her family all the best.

I can't say I like Jade Goody - she's pretty much a symbol of lazy chavs who earn shed loads of money for doing nothing significant, earning literally millions when nurses work full time dealing with real responsibility, abuse on a daily basis, and actually helping people for only 20 grand a year, but that doesn't mean that I wish ill on her. Cancer is a horrible, horrible thing, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

What I do have issue with is the way she's going about it. Instead of fighting the cancer quietly, and being with her family when her prognosis is so bad, she's rushing off to the Sun. Her kids are no longer with her, and although I can see why she doesn't want to tell them that she has cancer, I think it's actually going to have a detrimental effect on her kids in the future when they see that she's telling the whole country, and not them. Maybe it's to protect them, I don't know, I'm not in that situation.

So, in conclusion, I don't respect her more just because she has cancer, however no-one should be in the position that she is right now.

For all the women on here, make sure you get cervical smears EVERY year, so that this real fucker of a disease can be caught before it gets as bad as where Jade is now. Granted, they are not nice, and not pleasant at all, but it's much better than avoiding it. The government have stupidly changed the rules so that women cannot get regular smear tests before 25, however you can still go down to the GUM clinics to get tested (I believe there's one at the Royal Sussex County).

my mum is riddled with cancer,she has been fighting it for a year,had all the treatments,but just after xmas,we were told,their was nothing else they can do,its a waiting game.Tbh i have no time for jade goody,how she has used her illness to make money beggars belief,i cant even bring myself to even read what shes been spouting
