If Ronaldo gets tripped he looks like he might burst into tears at any second, I bet he is absolutely cacking himself at the prospect of going back to Man Utd, he will not get a very nice reception wherever he plays next season, even their very own prawn sandwich brigade might turn against him.

He winked at the bench when Rooney was walking off. And was also was winding Rooney up before the game even started. He won't be able to cry to the ref when they meet-up in pre-season training. I'd love to see that session.

Well, we'll know when the ref gives his report.

I think there was a clear stamp by Rooney and the ref saw it. The way the ref was gesturing the other players away in my view was because he already knew what he had to do with Rooney, not because he was getting talked into sending him off.
But let's see - because this will be cleared up pretty quickly by the ref himself.

Of course we will. There is obviously no chance the ref will get to see the video footage and blame the "stamp" in his report. None at all.

I have looked at the footage a couple of times, my view is that Rooney was being fouled by two players before the alleged stamping incident, if the ref had blown his whistle on the fouls then what happened later may not have taken place. As for the push on Ronaldo, that was hardly deserving of a yellow card, much worse has been happening in the penalty box before set plays and have we seen many cards brandished for that?

If the ref had done his job and called the foul of Rooney when it first happened, we wouldn't need this debate. But his is scum and will be forced out of the country and hopefully gets what is coming to him, cheating greasy bastard

The sad thing is that both my kids wanted him to get hit and bleed after this incident. The way he squeals and dives around, they just wanted him to be properly hit so that he knows what pain really is. Sad indictment on the English mentality I suppose, but I daresay that the ethics of revenge were not really up for debate in many locations today!

Stuart Pearce steaming through the little shit at 100 mph would have been a little more than satisfying, I can't deny it!

Maybe it's OUR mentality we should be changing - should we expect our players to behave this way to counteract and meet this sort of problem rather than just being the victims of such appalling playacting?

Sorry, my telly must be on the blink. Don't know what everybody else's is showing, but mine keeps showing the Scouse retard slyly stomping on Ronaldo's balls. Not sly ENOUGH tho, spud-boy

How does that make Ronaldo the villain?
