Now we're getting to the core of your problem. I'm not going to say it for fear of getting banned, but i'm sure most grown ups will be able to see this post is a clear cry for help.

and some may even try to argue it.

As Westdene's self-appointed internet lawyer (no formal training but I've seen a few Youtube videos) I would advise him to steer well clear of invitations to meet you after you've described yourself as a child and accused him of stalking you.

Thank you ma' Lord. Should I be responding "no comment" to prevent me incriminating myself ?

From a personal point of view I found page 4 to be a bit of a disappointment

I've got to say, as annoying as Falmer may be, he's fantastic at sidetracking threads. He's managed to make everyone completely forget that this binfest started because he made a completely unsubstantiated (nay, falsely substantiated) argument that Ron Paul didn't believe that Bin Laden was involved in 9/11.

Having an argument with Falmer is a bit like trying to nail jelly to the wall. You spend ages doing it, you even think you've got it on a couple of occasions, but ultimately it's such an insane thing to attempt that you don't have a hope in hell.

A very valid video - not sure that he's going to win on a "support our troops" campaign without further polices. Also worried about the message that flashed up "Stop foreign aid" - that would be absolutely the wrong thing to do. Overall though, the message of "don't go and invade other countries and we'll be safer" must surely be a good one.

Foreign Aid - Taking money from poor people in this country and giving it to rich people in poor countries.

Foreign Aid goes to dictators and becomes weapons of war. It's the prize you get if you do as you are told, as apposed to the bombing you will get if you don't.

It's more a case of winding him up to the point he says something stupid and gets himself banned. :lolol:

Your talking absolute bullshit Westdene.

Ron Paul was saying, "if we bomb countries in the middle east, we are likely to suffer blowback, attacks on us." He was right.

I noticed that since starting the thread this morning, it has got to 5 pages! Should have known it would be 1 page of discussion and 4 pages of handbags, lol. Oh well.

But yeh, with the Iran situation seemingly getting worse, I thought I would throw this out there for people who were not aware of the history.

Really glad to see Ron Paul is getting noticed over here more and more too. Happy days :)

Whenever I've read about Ron Paul's successes in the Primaries I've thought of the threads you posted about him. He's still rather too isolationist for my tastes I'm afraid, although I do think he speaks some sense, particularly on some of his foreign policy.

Genuine question, do you think he's getting votes for his libertarian views or do you think it's just his sensible foreign policy and the fact he's not the other three runners?

its all very nice knowing what Ron Pauls views are, but he isnt going to get the nomination let alone win any election. even if you cast aside ones opinion of his policies, he's 10 years too old and he dosent look presidential. that matters to alot of people, they will vote for who looks and sounds right.

on policy, his economics would cast the US back 70 years. i dont care much about that thats their problem, we need to look to China and make the most of our links to India.
