I'm not sure why the blame is being put on Hürzeler - many of our squad's injuries / days missed since August are a hangover from last season - March, Ferguson, Lamptey, Verbruggen, Estupinan, Enciso. Plus Wieffer and Gruda were coming back from injury when they joined. And no one should be shocked at Milner being injured.

You've been around long enough to recognise that when we're on a run of eight games without a win, when fans have been singing 'Europe again' and even CL songs since the first game of the season, when we've had a myriad of different -- for which read unconnected -- injuries, when we have a manager who -- checks notes -- is only 31, bless, then the blame will go somewhere. For anything. And everything.

A lot of the injured crew are due back in the next two weeks - predicting a nearly complete squad as we head into the last quarter and a successful push for Europe - let's hope we lose at Norwich and can then concentrate on the big bananas
That’s what was said in January 2024!
