If Pedro is back for Ipswich along with Welbeck and Lamptey we still got a decent enough team.way better than last season when we had no wingers or full backs for 1 game I believe

Georginio should have come off at half time.

Lots of things wrong with our injury record this past 2 seasons. We’re not even in Europe this season too.

Rutter’s injury at the end of the 1st half was an impact, not hamstring. My guess is he’s done something to it in the 2nd half.
I think Minteh hurt himself with that rubbish touch when clean through, then stretched to try to recover it.
This is becoming farcical. FH has got no chance with this.
…..and it was his ankle, not his hammy

If you look at the latest players injured they are in and out the match day starting line up far to often IMO. Rutter was benched for three games for no apparent reason, Minteh 10-20 minutes here and there. Wieffer similar, Lamptey dropped when on a run of decent form. Igor dropped for no other reason than Dunk was fit.
Not a lot makes sense this season regarding team selections.
We’ve gone through half a season of squad experimentation no wonder we struggle to win a league game.

Rumours that JPvH and Velts too
No that was just someone’s comment beforehand because we put out a stronger team than many expected - he was right in the sense important players picked up injuries which was the point he was making.
We can’t have our cake and eat it though - many of us were pleased he took the Cup seriously and enjoyed a rare victory

Another agenda-ridden perspective.

We don’t sign young players and start putting them in every start up - they need to work up to Premier League condition - Lamptey and Igor were in and out because of injuries to Velts and Dunk both of whom add a maturity our back line and unless you are suggesting we should not have let the Captain back in, where should we keep starting Igor?

Weiffer, Georginio and Minteh all needed time to bed in and be tested at Premier League level - at the start of the season, we had a lot of new and some very young players under a new manager so unless you think Fabian should have arrived in July, picked a starting 11 out of a hat for 2024/25 and stuck with it for 6 months without rotating any other new players in or building up players who had been out for long term injury then none of what you said makes sense to me.
