As Bernie Ecclestan said QPR are not a rich club but have rich owners that doesnt mean to say they have to throw their money at the club. I think that because TB is a fan he will allow time before making any moves hence my view that if things are looking no better in October it will be goodbye Mr Slade. By then we should have an idea of which way we are going and it may be that these last 2 weeks are the seasons worst and we steadily improve from now in.

The fans are not turning, the idiots are.

EXACTLY

there 407 people there last ngiht, there wasnt any booing or calling for Slade to be ousted.

It was put down to one of those things, people luaghed it off and left in good spirits despite the gaggle of soccerflids performance on the pitch

at the final whistle, was probably when the fans were loudest singing songs and applauding the team off the pitch

though the bad fan i was, i couldnt bring my self to clapping a 7-1 defeat after a 250 mile drive. But I didnt boo, and nor did anyone else

how the reaction is different on NSC via people who just listened to it on the radio or watch it on teletext

Depends on the type of fan he is. For all the annoying posts, Ernest, Vulture and US are fans, yet do they seem as if they'd be patient?

Though, I do hope TB is a patient fan.

Personally, I think Slade should be given a lot more time.
As has been pointed out, many new players joined in the Summer and will take time to gel.
If another man were to come in now, the players would still be in a period of getting to know each other. The clubs start to the season should be judged after 10 games I feel.

As ONE man controls the club then it is Bloom will DECIDE when/if he will AXE Slade and if he doesn't do it this week he might in a week or 2.
Then again it DEPENDS on whom Bloom listens to and what their AGENDA is whether Slade stays or not.
 well said

I'm honestly hoping Bloom,Slade and co are looking at possible ADDITIONS to the squad in the last week or so before the transfer window slams shut rather then silly dismisals

everyones going to look at Norwich getting rid of Gunn but I seriously don't think thats the way forward , it has hardly done them any good now is it

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried and I'm not a complete and utter "Superfan/Club licker " but I'm a realist and I feel these next few weeks could be KEY but not the be all and end all.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens now Bloom is in charge. Somehow I don’t think he will have the patience and tolerance that Uncle Dick had. He will be expecting the bragging rights that come with the position – a 7-1 defeat and, no doubt the piss taking from some of his high powered business buddies, will seem like a definite kick in the gonads. Slade will need to get his act together pretty quickly.

Slade has got, in my opinion, 3 or 4 seasons to get us into the championship. My opinion is that to ask for a nearly relegated team to all of a sudden become play off contenders is a bit too sudden.

It is proven that if you give managers time then results and glory will follow. Think of the top four in the premier league bar Chelsea. They haven't exactly bought success but have given their managers time and results have followed. Everton were in an FA cup final and that is the Everton who continuously finished around 17th before Moyes came in and was given time.

Russel deserves are support for keeping us in the division and therefore deserves time to build a good strong team over the next few seasons and if you are not prepared to wait then f*** off.

It's so predictable that Half Man, Half Wit WW would start a thread like this. Wouldn't it be nice if his home was to be subjected to a permanent power cut ?

Our highest finishes in the past 5 years (7th in league one with Wilkins, bottom of championship and fourth bottom championship) have come from managers who have been here a whole season.

Looking like a pretty reasonable thread now - just a shame some dickheads with inflated egos decided otherwise without giving it a chance.

:wrong:

How can anyone turn on Slade after the terrific job he did in keeping us up last season and less than a quarter of the new season gone?

We need to build our club on a firm foundation, not turning on the manager every time we get a few less than desirable results.

I'd say it was more of a shame that some dickhead has returned and bounced this c u n t fest of a thread
