I'd say it was more of a shame that some dickhead has returned and bounced this c u n t fest of a thread

You mean the 'cuntfest' where i predicted idiots turning on Slade early on if we don't get results, and getting lynched for it? That i bounce in the first week of October after there's been at least 5 Slade Out threads this season already?

Oh, how I've been missing such intellectual banter.

For Slade is - he took Yeovil to play offs. Great achievement. Kept us up. Great achievement. Against is spent money and we are struggling. Losing 7-1, dropping Dicker. playing Virgo in midfield last season. Playing Virgo at full back this season. Letting Virgo take free kicks. (Slade Virgo is a centre back, if not good enough there bloody drop him).5 sendindings off this season. however you dont sack him unless you have a better option. If Coppell wants the job then its goodbye and thanks for everything. If Coppell doesnt then stick with Slade

Would imagine that the club has kept close contact with Coppell and that things will only be allowed to drift for so long before he gets the call. Shame for Slade, but the players are letting him down bigtime.

If we dont beat Leeds , Southampton , Charlton and Millwall in that 4 match spell in November there will be calls for him to go.

Was reading different threads and got to this one. Thought i'd read a few posts, then got to this. You will not win any of these games, you may get a draw against the Saints, but that is all. You will be points adrift big style if no points are picked up before the first game in this sequence comes up. I'd be fairly confident that by then your spirit will be broken and your manager sacked.
Looks like it's going tits up before it's even started, if it ever did get started.

To be honest, enough is enough now. Too many excuses.

Out of FA Cup. Out of the Piss Pot. In the relegation zone (played 10, won 2, drawn 3, lost 5).

OTHER teams have had poor refereeing decisions go against them, OTHER teams have lost key players to injury. But it feels like we are the ones in the shit and still making excuses. Some people are so blinkered in some kind of Slade love fest on here. Slade has spent an estimated £1.5m on players, and I would agree our squad looks better then last year (LIKE IT SHOULD) but there is something seriously wrong at the club which needs to be sorted out. If it's the coaching, Slade should have sorted it, if it's the players, then Slade should have made better choices, it all boils down to one man at then end of the day and if he hasn't got the balls to admit that then he can sling it.

If Coppell is interested get him in ASAP, IMO.

Heyho, still be cheering on Saturday though.

Out of the FA Cup? Even we're not that bad that we are out of a competition before playing a game in it:lol:

This club will never progress until we back a manager long-term...

Did we not learn getting both Mullery and Adams back so not Coppell again if and I mean if Blooms patience runs out with RS I hope we bring in a new man completly with his own backrom staff thus stopping everybody blaming Booker and White without knowing how much or little they contribute towards our poor results.

If we got behind our managers and stop moaning about them, you might relise that we are just not as good as a lot of you think, imo Slade should be in charge when we go into Falmer

Correct we had 4-5 good seasons where we never really put a foot wrong. We went from Division 2, up to the championship in two straight seasons. Now its our turn to struggle a bit. Eventually things will turn around. Teams go up and teams go down.

We survived relegation last season, when we all thought we would be in Division 2, so things are not that bad.

It's so simple, 3 - 4 wins and we will back up that league even pushing for the play offs.

If Coppell has any interest in the job at all I'd sack Slade today. If not, as I expect is more likely , he needs at least the next 3 games. I think Slade will turn it around but if we have the opportunity of getting Coppell I suggest we should move heaven and earth to get him

Having said that I have faith that Slade will see us midtable by the end of the season if he stays, but I fear the crowd will turn if we don't stsrt winning soon, even draws aren't going to be enough..

In all fairness a manager needs a year to build his team and get them playing his way. However, what you need to see in those twelve months is progress and we're not and that is the real problem.

Slade OUT, no, we don't have a good replacement and it would take more time to sort.

What we need is to understand what the plan is because if the plan is kick ball up front, loose possession, concede a goal, kick ball up front etc then we have to make that painful and retrograde step of changing manager.

Actually I think you're right. Yes I think the players are letting him down but ....
