Hull, Fulham and
Yeh but then wouldn't doncaster have gone down instead and we wouldn't have been saved by their shitness the following year?Hereford and us would of survived if it been 2 points for a win so HUH!!!!!
They took 334 to Oldham last weekend.
I disagree with people who say we would hate them with a passion if they'd been sent us down. We went into that game, knowing full well what was at stake.
One of us had to go down, them or us. We were hardly going to throw in the towel and roll over (although at half time, I really thought we were doing exactly that).
Granted, I'd have been devastated had we been relegated to the conference, but it wouldn't have been Hereford's fault, it would've been our own - and that of Archer and Bellotti. Their relegation was their own fault. They shouldn't have dragged themselves into the relegation mire.
Hereford have battled back, and fair play to them. But their 'hatred' of us is simply sour grapes.
.
We deserved to go down because our goal difference was worse then yours. :
Actually mate, your GD was BETTER than ours. That year there was a one-off change in the rules, that said Goals For counted before Goal Difference. We scored ONE more goal.
Where have people said Hereford deserved to go down due to the number of fans they have? The only references to number of fans is how many you're bringing tomorrow which shows that presumably this match doesn't REALLY mean a massive amount to you.Brighton, I've always felt that we lost it the week before at Orient. What many Hereford fans feel is that you lot were the media darlings and as some of your posts in this thread suggest your fans were/are very arrogant. WTF has number of fans we have got to do with who deserved to go down We deserved to go down because our goal difference was worse then yours. Yeah is been 11 years and maybe you would rise above it but 9 years in the conference was hard to take. We were 24 hours away from going bust more than once during that time but we have come back and we have come back stronger off the field now. Anyway good luck for the rest of the season after tomorrow 2 - 1 Hereford
