I believe that we have more signings to make yet BUT i would still have them in the squad for cover

Gatting might not the energetic player Hart ONCE was but his record scoring suggests he is no mug infront of goal. He looks short on confidence but the talent is there.

Dixon. Well he hasn't set the word alite by any means but he isnt THAT bad and so far all we have really seen of him in competitive games is the odd RARE start and 10 and 15 minutes here and there. Certainly not enough to judge someone on.

Gargan? Well he looked half decent when he came on at Bristol Rovers last season and is certainly a good prospect.

Virgo dosen't want to play there so no heart in it. Gatting looks ok in pre season but not the competitive league games. Dixon is pants!!! saw him in a couple of reserve matches last season and there are no words to describe it!!!!
Gargan i think in a seasons time will be ready

Dixon will still be adjusting to the regimen of a new club and full time football. He needs a pre-season under his belt and some more experience. To write him off as pants is ridiculous. Besides, reserve football is not always the best place to judge players properly, as with pre-season.

Dixon is NEVER going to hack it. the cognoscenti are NEVER wrong.

And the signing of Mayo and Hart is two backward steps. Shameful lack of vision by the club.

No problem at all with this. If Mickey thinks they're worth it, then fine with me. However, I would say that if they are worth one year deals then so is Paul Reid.
