hardly a lie!

i wont be booing him thats for sure seems to me like he had no option but to leave
if he was promoised a new deal at the start of last season then he should have had one as he is far more important now to the team than he was when he signed his last new deal 2 1/2 years ago

He was a good servant for the club and his goals at the end of the 2004-05 season kept us up in the Championship.

What I find most strange is that DK offered him a new contract WITH a get out clause if we were not promoted at the end of the season, and he still turned it down.

Surely this would have allowed him to
1. Potentially captain the club in the play-off final
2. Play Championship football next season (assuming one came in for him)
3. Be on better wages than under his old contract (assuming it is a decent contract).

BTW I would NOT boo him, he's given good service, is a local lad, scored some important goals, and the club made a £250k profit on him, what is there to boo in that?

What makes you think Colchester will pick him when they come down to Withdean next season.

By that time they will have worked out what a lot of money they wasted on a midfielder who constamtly disappears from games......
