Yes and we have now offered £100K for div2 replacement, when we could have possibly kept Hamond for a tenth of that?
I fail to see the sense in that.
How will we know that he's playing? Of course, he'll be the anonymous one in the stripes.

I have a source at the club and according to him Hammond will bet getting around quad his wages.

We brought a player for 300k we turned down 200k for him, offered him a get out clause in his contract, and he still f***ed off.
Now he's gone to a team, who are odds on to go down, and he'll be back where he is now. So all this bullshit about us showing ambition was bollocks.
A total **** in my opinion. If you want to leave, say so, good luck, but don't say you want to stay, when clearly you dont. He tried to put it on Dick Knight, and been made to look the **** he is.
