Dull repetitive old crap it may be, but it's not wrong though is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad to say though Phil, you don't actually convince anybody. If some people do have their doubts about Falmer, I doubt very much that your bitter ongoing little diatribe on here against it has had one jot to do with it. You just sound like a dotty but ever-insignificant and ignored old twat in the corner. Anyway, let's see.

Just out of interest: didn't you mention once on here that you're banned from Withdean? Maybe that's where this bitterness comes from?

Indeed lets!

:lolol:

If I'm so insignificant why do you lot spend time making stuff up about me?

Yes I'm banned, I'm also a member of the BNP, NF, Combat 18, ANL, People's Front of Judea, Mensa, Bros fan club, The Times Wine Club, the group to bring back whispa's on facebook, a library, have a subscription to national geographic as well as razzle and can be regularly be found on the terraces of Crystal Palace Football Club.

Oh and own Forfars!

Yes! Arthur! The exclamation marks are back! Along with your dull repetitive old crap! About how Falmer will never happen! Because it just won't ok you window lickers! etc etc

Meanwhile - this really was GREAT news: one less place for thick greedy blue-rinse hangers and floggers to socialise:

Hove Tory club closes with £1m debt (From The Argus)

The more of your posts I read, I get the impression you are a very bitter, sad person.

Just because some people have a different way of life and social network, you take pleasure in their misfortune.

To me, this is not a right/left, Labour/Tory argument, but the pent up frustration of a very sad individual.

There are a few people on here to whom that post might apply - but not I am afraid MoH.

Just for your information like.

Arthur and Lord B, can you take you discussion onto a more appropriate thread? I want to watch Nibble and Uncle Speilberg. Thanks.

I agree totally. I'm only on this thread because I want to celebrate good news. Specifically the good news that Arthur is proved WRONG once again.

Especially since we now know FOR CERTAIN that work on the stadium WON'T be "delayed for another year". It has actually started - and the first real digging will start in December.

But Arthur can't see it. Nor does he understand that the reason the Council have THIS WEEK handed over the site to the Club is that they are satisfied that the funding is secured.

And on Thursday announced work would be delayed for another year! ...

... we have to borrow yet more funds from banks, who in case you haven't noticed, aren't having the best of times lately so might be reluctant to do so.

Sorry I forgot, we've got people queueing out of the door to lend us money haven't we!

Where have I been proved wrong in the past?

Ok apologies my wording was incorrect, the club have announced a years delay in us playing football at Falmer......not that work will start in December of course. How long was it after Oxford started building their new ground that they actually got to play in it? And how do you know FOR CERTAIN that work won't be delayed?

The fact that the club are hoping to start work "on time" yet it's going to take a year longer says allot about the buffoons running the project. Yet another false promise (or damn right lie) for the hard suffering fans of this club!

But Arthur can't see it. Nor does he understand that the reason the Council have THIS WEEK handed over the site to the Club is that they are satisfied that the funding is secured.

If it's secured then why aren't the club telling us where the money is coming from? Actually when have the club said the funding for the entire project is in place?

The Rules of the Good News Thread

This thread is about good news. It is not a thread for arguments ( Arthur ) , being a Tosser ( Nibble ) or being insulting or argumetative. If you want to do that you can jolly well Sod off to another thread quite franklly.

Today's good news is about the legend that is Richard Astley.

Anyone that owns a copy of " Whenever You Need Somebody " will not need me to tell them it is the work of pure excellence with songs from the Mozart, Beethoven and Brahm's of their time Stock, Aitken and Waterman.

Sublime song after sublime song. From the pop perfection of " Never Gonna Give You Up " and " Whenever You Need Somebody " to the soulful , ballady " Together Forever " and " The Love Has Gone " not to mention the moving " Don't Say Goodbye ".

It is quite possibly the greatest Album of all time.
