I applaud all those taking care, respecting others and doing the right things. That said, if this pandemic has taught me one thing, it is that life is too short. If the game’s on, I’ll be there!
i still haven’t been since the 1st outbreaks.
i have a heart condition.
i have a business that i’m struggling to keep open. Me or the Mrs (who also works there) getting infected could leave us needed to close down for some while, and i’ve got 13 staff who we both feel responsible for.
i worry the club will cancel my seat as it’s not getting used.
i worry that if they did that i’ll loose touch permanently with my friends that sit around me.
irony is that I had just got to the stage of feeling things were improving enough to start going again ….
Right now life all seems pretty shite
A very personal view as I’ve just tested positive, if any of you are in doubt or worry about your health, don’t go.
We hadn’t socialised in the last 10 days, but we went on holiday, wearing masks at all times indoors/on flights, when not eating or drinking. Imho I almost certainly caught it on the flights or in a restaurant.
So, in otherwise very compliant environments, with 99% of people playing ball.
Contrast that to UK trains, Albion park n ride or Amex concourses. Spot the mask.
[I’m not a lockdowns/restrictions obsessive, far from it, but this has been an eye opener. Our household’s work and other plans all thrown up in the air].
Genuinely, take care.

Please please email Mr Barber about this.
It’s totally unacceptable that the club would cancel your ticket but I’m 99% sure that Mr Barber would write back and reassure you about the situation. If he doesn’t, post on here and we’ll all write him an email!!
I'm not going because I live in Northumberland.

My grandfathers and great fathers were at the front in the first and second world wars. They knew being at the front was not risk free. They were at the fronts enduring the wind, rain and snow. Life isn’t risk free. So yes I could spread a virus by not wearing a mask but can someone catch the virus if they are wearing a mask . It comes down to accepting personal responsibility and accepting life isn’t risk free.
Not going having tested positive.
thank you Hugo,
if anyone has an email address for the good man I’ll do just that
Absolutely this. No problem with anyone not going but, for various reasons, life is really awful at the moment so I'm definitely going if it's on and will take all the usual precautions and will enjoy worrying about the match rather than life.

I won't be attending, not because I'm worried about Covid though. My son who I go with is off ski-ing and I've felt really rubbish for the last week - all the symptoms of Covid but thus far five negatives tests. Disappointed as I'll be missing the Brentford match as well.
