The upper West has a much wider concourse than The Upper East. The queues from the bars totally block the complete the width of the concourse, so you have to fight your way through the queue to get to the entrance steps to my seat, or going the other way to the loos, of which there are only two gents loos on the Upper East.
Plus the steps up to the coach park are a scrum, and there are always some away supporters coming back down the steps for some strange reason.

A total minefield l agree.

I'm not (as oop north now), but seriously thinking about calling off our trip to a comedy show next week, despite the cost of the tickets.
Have already sacked in the work Christmas do on Fri.
Probably going for booster (or first dose of Pfizer as they'll call it until novavax is approved) on Thurs.

I have been double jabbed and have had the booster so I am protected as best as I can be.What is the point of being vaccinated if you don't trust in the protection provided by the vaccines?

I will be travelling to the match on a Seagull Travel coach. The only reason I will be wearing a face mask on the coach is because I don't want to pay a £200 fine.

If others want to protect themselves by getting vaccinated and wearing a face mask thats fine with me. Good on them. But spare me the crap about wearing a face mask to protect others. Its about time snowflakes accept some personal responsibilty.

Before people start quoting the "some people can't be vaccinated for medical reasons" line, people with serious medical conditions should either stay at home and self isolate, or wear a face mask when going out. If they wear a face mask when going out, how can they breath in "covid particles" exhaled by others if they are wearing a face mask and protecting themselves?

Someone lovely once said "There's no such thing as society". Hmmm.

The coach park steps are a no go now as they've stopped the cut through to the woods that many people took to get to the Uni car parks. So everyone wanting to get to Village Way and beyond on foot, now has to use those steps from that quadrant of the stadium. I think like any away fan you may think you can get to the station or something from there, same as all the away fans that are often coming back over the railway bridge after a game because they've realised they've not found a secret shortcut and that they're on their way to the University.

I’m not going. Not because I’m worried about getting it as all jabbed up, but I don’t fancy testing positive afterwards and spending it sat alone in a flat rather than going to see family come the big day.

I'm another one self isolating after bringing covid home from the Southampton game. But I'm pretty sure that the infection came from the travel involved rather than the game itself. I was double jabbed but five days away from my booster.....

Was planning on going, but will now give it a miss due to the mass of recent infections and as the wife and I look after a disabled family member. Not the worth the risk for us.

Plus, with several players missing with Covid as confirmed by GP, the match could be a bit of a farce.

i still haven’t been since the 1st outbreaks.

i have a heart condition.
i have a business that i’m struggling to keep open. Me or the Mrs (who also works there) getting infected could leave us needed to close down for some while, and i’ve got 13 staff who we both feel responsible for.
i worry the club will cancel my seat as it’s not getting used.
i worry that if they did that i’ll loose touch permanently with my friends that sit around me.

irony is that I had just got to the stage of feeling things were improving enough to start going again ….

Right now life all seems pretty shite

This old snowflake would rather spend Christmas Day at my daughter’s house, than watch a football match. I’ve missed family so much, it is far more important to me.

I assume this is a spoof account to go fishing with but i will allow myself to be hooked because the message is important.

Good that you are triple jabbed but that does not give you full immunity and current thinking is it does not protect you from omnicron so you can get COVID and therefore you can spread it. The idea of masks is to act as another barrier to stop you catching COVID but more importantly to stop you spreading it.

Masks aren't 100% protection either so by using both you are restricting chances of being a spreader.

I’ve no idea, that’s why I took mine off the exchange, it hadn’t been listed on the ticket site anyway so the chance of selling it was almost zero (if the game goes ahead I’m still out of pocket either way) but if it does get called off I’ll be able to attend the rearranged fixture hopefully.

Im just airing on the side of caution as people who used the ticket share for Spurs games have already lost their ticket for the re-arranged fixture as it still belongs to the person you shared it with.

Mines currently listed But I don’t think the exchange is effectively open anyway
I’d like to think it’s mine until sold to a n other
So if the game s cancelled It should be mine for the re arranged fixture
If it remains unsold in the interim
If transferred to another It should be transferable back to the original owner in the event of a cancellation imho
It’s not like moneys allowed to exchange hands in this instance
Only if the ticket is re sold by the club to a random is money involved
Then I understand the effective change of owner

I don’t think the club will cancel Season tickets in March for non attendance. If they do, it will be extremely harsh and bad customer service.

The family area north corner never has burgers r hot dogs and you have to enter the north stand no big deal normally but doesnt help more movement around the stadium. Whilst some may be understandably put off, it could also encourage other sin other words take a game in before perhaps all football is halted or has severe restrictions. If the game is called off must do it by midday on the day at the absolute latest.

I've been triple jabbed and I'm going. I am classed as vulnerable but luckily I haven't got any elderly relatives to worry about. I've also missed the last two games due to travel and I am definitely going to this one.

A very personal view as I’ve just tested positive, if any of you are in doubt or worry about your health, don’t go.

We hadn’t socialised in the last 10 days, but we went on holiday, wearing masks at all times indoors/on flights, when not eating or drinking. Imho I almost certainly caught it on the flights or in a restaurant.

So, in otherwise very compliant environments, with 99% of people playing ball.

Contrast that to UK trains, Albion park n ride or Amex concourses. Spot the mask.

[I’m not a lockdowns/restrictions obsessive, far from it, but this has been an eye opener. Our household’s work and other plans all thrown up in the air].

Genuinely, take care.

42 CASES IN THE PL OVER A 7 DAY PERIOD

the most during the whole pandemic. This question of going or not may well be out of our hands.
