Given the assumption that one is male and the other female, there is no issue with any of those examples.

Do you not grasp the simple concept that there are two different sexes? If people have not been made with normal thoughts about the opposite sex, I pitty them. But, at the end of the day, they should be stopped from trying to convince others that they are "normal". It is against nature, as simple as that.

Who's trying to convince anyone or deny their are two separate sexs, its just a bill about equality. You just seem to insult people when they have different views to yours rather than come up with any reasoned debate.

I suppose my ignorance is my problem. I don't get the whole gay thing and never have, some say I am homophobic but I have nothing against individuals for what or who they are. I just don't get it, I don't believe people are born gay its just paths in life they go down.

I had an in depth conversation with a gay colleague and he tried to explain the whole thing and it just screwed me up more. His conclusion was that I am not homophobic but totally the opposite, he say's I'm a closet gay.

I am now totally confused but straight as an arrow.

It would make gay people able to marry each other which is EQUAL to straight people being able to marry. Pedos abusing kids is illegal and a sick crime - being gay and wanting to marry your partner isnt a crime and never will be for you unfortunately.

Which takes me back to my original point....would this yes or no apply to all faiths or just CofE as technically, the state has no juristriction over islamic and roman catholic doctrine? whereas it has over CofE

The reason for the special case for the cofe is canon law. If the cofe want to opt into the law all they have to do is introduce a piece of legislation which they have the power to do themselves without asking the government.

I believe the law stopping Gay Marriage was only brought onto the statue book in 1971

You are taking this bill to some strange areas/topics, and I am not sure what Gay Marriage has to do with any pedophiles equal rights, to what exactly, I cannot see it or find it in the bill they are debating.
