I have got the impression from the last two games that for the 1st time this season luck has had a part to play in our defeats. This is only from listening to SCR and some of the less hysterical posts on here though.

I really hope that one win, lucky or otherwise might change this whole season. Confidence really can have a massive influence on the way a team plays. What I have seen, Leicester apart, has had nothing to do with luck it has just been shite, but the last two games seem to have been different, so just maybe we are gonna turn the corner soon.

We were not unlucky in either game, Huddersfield and Stockport. Yes we have begun to pass the ball more and keep pocession in those two games, but we are not creating much in the way of clear cut chances. A few long range efforts, but clear cut chances no. If we did, I would back Forster and Murray to put them away.

We hit the woodwork twice against Stockport, but they always looked more of a threat than us, and could have scored more than 2.

Huddersfield again, a lot of pocession, but not much in the way of clear cut chances.

We have 2 brilliant strikers in our team, but we dont provide them with anything other than scraps, no crosses, no passes to feet, just long hopeful balls. The strikers are having to go get the ball, and make their own chances.

If we did play that well in the last two games the players would not be arguing with each other on the pitch

Sorry, but hitting the goal rather than the woodwork may well have changed both games? Rub of the green I think and how often can you say that that has gone against us before those two games?

The players like and respect Adams hugely, far more than they did Wilkins.

Your mate is wrong, and the Stockport fans were just being polite. Were we really better than the six teams they've failed to beat at home?

.

Sorry to dissappoint you, but our defeat on Tuesday had very very little to do with luck, and everything to do with poor team selection and poor decision making on the field.

It may well have done, but everytime we do build any momentum in a game, we rarely score, and that has been our downfall. Even the Derby game we were on top, but still lost 4-1.

I dont think there have been many games where we have been unlucky with the result we have got and the rub of the green.

It is all ifs and buts, and we deserve to be where we are, in my opinion like.

would you go for the post it note, or A4 sign with sellotape? ???

A4 sign in big letters. I'd attach it by putting my arm around Micky and telling him he's got my full support before walking off mouthing 'wanker' as I go.

We're not attacking your mate Dave.

Truth is we DID have a lot of posession and passed the ball around quite well, but only in the areas where they LET us. We had very little cutting edge.

Stockport on the other hand, looked like scoring every time they had the ball.

Wednesday morning Andy Naylor gets given Nicky Forster to interview. He asks him about the fans criticism of Adams and whether he has the players' backing. Nicky Forster gives the obvious answer of YES.

Wednesday late-morning. Andy Naylor writes up his story and uses the fresh angle of players backing Adams.

Wednesday afternoon. Argus goes to print.

Thursday morning. NSC reads far too much in to a non-story.

Naylor is doing his job and Forster is doing his. Nothing else to see here...

I suppose its all about opinions. I thought Hudds played really well on Saturday and deserved at least a point, whereas other fans reckoned Brighton deserved all 3.....

Confidence has a huge part to play! People seem to forget that we had a good start to the season, even had a bit of a run going as well, we had a couple of bad games and things changed very quickly. I know most people (if not all) won't agree but I do think the fans have to take some responsibilty for the way things are going of late. People started to question the team in SEPTEMBER, already slating Adams, criticising the players when our record stood at 5 wins, 4 draws and 2 loses.
