I've never quite understood why Barrett gets such a bad rap. He didn't score after his debut but played out on the wing for the rest of the season. I know we went down, but we played some bloody good stuff second half of that season under Coppell and he was a part of it. If that chip against Palace had gone in, we'd probably all have shirts with his name on the back.

Plus we’ve added Veltman and Lallana as well as White all for under a mill. Far better business this window than Leeds and there’s still a month til the window closes!

Signing players at this level is complicated, expensive and time consuming. The reason Brighton still got unfinished business is the same reason every other team got unfinished business: it is complicated and it takes time.

Leeds have signed TWO first team players, in Rodrigo and Koch. We’ve signed two, in Lallana and Veltman.

Well we have signed players, let’s not forget. Lallana and Veltman. And we’ve introduced Ben White and Molumby to the squad, two super exciting talents. So this already is significant improvement to our team.

Leeds have had to come from nowhere to get numbers in and are largely overpaying. And would you want any of their signings?

We all know it’s a striker we need. Again, we have to judge this end of the window.
