FDM on loan to Hull

Not the real one
I don't think that's it's a bad thing. If we have an instant recall on him (doubt Coppell would be stupid enough to forget that), it will help him get match fit. Kuipers needs matches and the way he is at the moment he is never gonna beat Roberts to the no.1 spot.

Fitness, happiness at playing games and match practise are important and I doubt Coppell made the decision lightly or without the players input. Chill man! SC knows what he's doing.

I agree Roberts is a great keeper but I love FDM.

Does anyone else have a sneaking worry that Roberts is susceptable to free kick set pieces. He has conceded a couple of goals like that this season.

Can find it on the net anywhere.

Don't believe it until one of the official sites (I'm sure Hull will be first!) confirm it.

Just doesn't make sense.

Cheers for the vote of confidence, as if anyone would lie on here.

At work - probably
It'll be good if it's to give FDM some match practice and to get him off the wage bill for a month - which'll help fund Henderson or someone for a bit. I'll not be happy if it's a Steve Melton siuation though - although it's obviously not 'cos Fettis is injured and they have got Musslewhite as well.

Trust Coppell on this.

He doesn't rate the FDM as much as the rest of us do. A good shot stopper, but that's about it.

Maybe SC has in mind a lucrative transfer fee and enough cash to invest in the second string goalkeeper that he has already identified as right for the job.

Sheffield United's keeper was forced off against Palace the other night and they had no spare on the bench so they stuck a defender in goal (Jagielka). Hilariously, Palace still failed to score past him from open play for the entire second half and lost the game 2-1.

I miss the days when clumsy outfield players had to go in goal every time a keeper was injured or sent off. It was always good watching an eager midfielder flapping around pretending he knew what he was doing.

So who would go in goal now if we had no keeper on the bench?
It should be Butters, but will probably end up being Watson :lolol:

Players can not be recalled during a month's loan (well, 28 days anyway)...

A short-term loan is for a period between 28 and 93 days, including the start date and the finishing date. (All loans are for a specific number of days, and technically there is no such thing as "a month's loan".) The player cannot be recalled by his original club during the first 28 days, but can be afterwards regardless of the original period of the loan.

Weird decision. I couldn't see any other club in the league letting their second choice keeper out on loan unless he was unhappy, wanted to leave and the loan is basically a trial period.

Bring back Kevin Bremner as rush goalie, anyone else remember his comedy performance against West Brom in 1988/99?:nono:

shit, fdm is brilliant I would love to see him in goal again. However, match fitness and challenging Roberts in goal can't be bad. Hopefully he will return and have a stormer, if he goes I'll have to change my username

I can't belive Coppell doesn't rate him, ok his kicking is dodgy but his shot tsopping his unbelieveable. How many times has he kept us in game?

My day just goes from bad to worse . . . :nono:
