Easy 10
Brain dead MUG SHEEP
I would very much like to hang out the back of Lucy.
There. I said it.

Ever played the games? It’s hard to know how much a non-fan’s experience will differ from someone who’s played the games, but I do think I’m probably enjoying it more already knowing detailed backstories for each group/faction and what certain things are/do.Finding it very dull.
What am I missing?
No, not played the games so I’m sure there’s plenty I’m not getting.Ever played the games? The characters are all-new though, so story arc wise it’s a level playing field.
Thank god. I was beginning to think I was the only one. Turned it off halfway through ep.3 last night.Finding it very dull.

I made it through episode one. Not for me. Others seem to be enjoying it though, so I’m sure it’s just not to my taste.Thank god. I was beginning to think I was the only one. Turned it off halfway through ep.3 last night.

To be fair they coined the concept in 1997 with the original game, so it was pretty original at the time.Watched 2 episodes and won’t be watching anymore. Slapstick ultra violence accompanied by tunes from the likes of Smooth FM has been done to death. Nothing much original here.
I love all the aforementioned games but they are undoubtedly jank, I think the appeal is largely the settings, atmosphere and exploration for me, rather than the gameplay. Not to be a contrarian, but Fallout never really vibed with me. I played through F3 back at release and have also played Bethesda's Oblivion and Skyrim (liked Skyrim more) but have found all Bethesda games a bit jank and hard to enjoy. Not particularly fussed about a TV show for it. You reckon it would be worth it to someone abmbivalent towards the series?
Appreciate the reply. I may put it on my watch list, though it won't be near the top.I love all the aforementioned games but they are undoubtedly jank, I think the appeal is largely the settings, atmosphere and exploration for me, rather than the gameplay.
The plot line (I haven’t finished yet mind you) is a fairly standard quest to find a MacGuffin which comprises of different characters from differing backgrounds crossing paths.
The thing that elevates it for me is the things I love about the games, so if you’re indifferent to them the TV series may not do anything for you either.
Sorry to get all boring for a bit, but Bethesda weren't responsible for the original game (or Fallout 2). The original games were developed/published by Black Isle/Interplay.To be fair they coined the concept in 1997 with the original game, so it was pretty original at the time.
Not aware of the intracacies, but Obsidian were responsible for Outer Worlds which is thematically very similar to Fallout.Sorry to get all boring for a bit, but Bethesda weren't responsible for the original game (or Fallout 2). The original games were developed/published by Black Isle/Interplay.
I gather that Obsidian, who made New Vegas, were founded by the people from Black Isle. No idea how many if the same people from the original game were actually involved in that though.
With the crucial distinction of being set IN SPACE.Not aware of the intracacies, but Obsidian were responsible for Outer Worlds which is thematically very similar to Fallout.
