Would Fabian Hurzeler be a good replacement for RDZ?

The players obviously listen, not for the first time we went through the gears. Not his fault that Ayari/MOR left Baleba to battle their 2 or 3 first half on his own. Rest of the season and next should be interesting as TB gives further tools …. assuming we don’t lose Rutter or Baleba.

Just watched his interview after today’s game (watched it on a half hour delay as I needed to get the kids asleep) and every time I see him I like him. Got a bit more personality than Potter, but more calmness than RDZ.

P.S. this is the thread to discuss the manager, not the stupidly titled Fab Out thread.
Hey, you just broke Zeberdis streak of 6 posts in a row on this thread. Was intrigued to see how long it would go on for 😀

Great result at Old Trafford. Based on the last 3 games, it is clear that what Hürzeler has been trying to achieve with this squad since August is really beginning to come together.

I have no doubts FH will be with us for several seasons and with the squad he’s developing get us back in Europe maybe not this season but surely the next if we can keep key players over the summer like eg Rutter, Mitoma, and Minteh.

Thoughts?

Thoughts are that a sizeable amount of people on here in the poll voted just a few weeks ago for Fab Out! Not "unsure" or "too early" but "OUT". Bloody short term idiots. They'll be back if we lose to Everton.

I have all those threads on ignore - much the same way all his detractors ( and mine!) probably has this thread on ignore 🙂

Tend to avoid the post match hyperbole - good or bad. I’m just patiently watching it all coming together slowly step by step, no unrealistic expectations no despair.

I do feel we’ve turned a corner though.

Really looking forward to going to the Everton match now.

He’s made mistakes but what’s important at this stage is that he learns from them, it’s clear that this is happening and as we hopefully start to get players back into the squad then there’s huge scope for a good end to the season
