Reports say he was asked 4 times about Hurzeler but kept referring back to De Zerbi, pointedly ignoring the question. Got up and left the 4th time.

I’ve been on the fence about Fab but if he pisses off Chelsea that’s a massive tick.

Maybe Maresca doesn’t want to talk him up and give Boehly ideas!

Probably this in the main. You can imagine RDZ moaning about the way his tenure unravelled and the spending since.
But it’s hardly anything to do with Hurzeler. Given the time between RDZ leaving and Hurzeler being signed it wasn’t like RDZ was pushed out because we were desperate to get Hurzeler. You’d think it’d be more anti the club than anti the manager.

To be fair I would be bemused why the press kept asking me questions about the opposition manager.
Because English press conferences are pathetic and an absolute waste of everyones time. The questions the journalists ask are moronic most of the time. I wish they were more like they are in Europe and Italy in particular.

Wouldn't it be nice to get a FH chant going tonight to show him some support and of course boo the Chelsea boss.
A bit difficult when so many of our OWN fans (if this place is anything to go by) think he's shitehouse!

Hmm, and yet one answer – or non answer – generates a story on here and elsewhere. Not really moronic.

I was told many moons ago, there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers. Sometimes the most innocuous questions can lead to the best stories/answers...

It's pretty common, no?

All he had to do was come out with the usual BS answers that the others do "These are a good manager..." etc and the whole thing wouldn't raise an eyebrow. Now, all of a sudden, there's beef between the pair of them and people are trying to work out what his facking problem is with fab Fab :lolol:

I mean, that pushes me more into team FH.

Maresca is a prick. An arrogant bellend that's little more than a poundland pep. so if FH has pissed him off then I'm all for it. Go Fab!
If, and it's a big if, we are winning and winning well I think a chorus of "sacked in the morning" followed by "oh Fabian Hurzeler" would be sublime.

Maresca clearly feeling insecure. Lovely.
And we are the ones to do it. Hilarious - a win has not felt this good since we beat Potter’s side in 2022 at home. That will teach him to fcuk with Brighton in his pressers. Maresca who?
