We just knocked Chelsea out of the FA Cup for the first time since 1933 and did it while not playing our best for 90 minutes.

Hardly ‘popping up after 7 days’ but yes, been ignoring the football threads because I prefer to avoid the overwhelming negativity, fans calling for the manager to be sacked and player scapegoating threads etc that overwhelms the boards following a loss. It’s all understandable but not a mood I want to fill my days with.
And yet here you are having a pop at me on the Fabian Hürzeler thread after his side just booted Chelsea out of the FA Cup with absolutely fcuk all in the way of anything constructive to say about the Coach - that says more about your posting behaviour than it does about mine.

Back on topic and a more uplifting note, good Naylor piece in the NYT/Athletic - by all accounts, the win happened in training and involving Veltman - and a bit of dramatic symbolism:
