Why is pathetic? He’s tactically naive, the starting line ups are making no sense, I think he’s out of depth , conceding 2 goals in batches

I’m not saying that he is immune to criticism. He isn’t. But the fact that fans are already calling for Fabian to go seems ridiculous. We are in the top half of the league with 24 points from 16 games. Of course we can do better and Fabian is responsible for some of our mistakes but all teams go through these bad spells - see Man City for example. We need to keep the faith and stick behind the team, the players need our support.

It's all down to what Bloom thinks. If he believes we should be doing better with the 200 mill he's spent then he'll be perhaps thinking he's made an error bringing in a manager with no Premier league experience. However, I think he'll settle for mid table finish but expect a lot better next season.

There would be two problems there. Firstly, we would be a laughing stock. Not even Manchester United and Chelsea sack their managers as early as that, and in such a competitive position as ours. Secondly, who would he be replaced by mid-season ? Albion operate in the middle upper band of management appointments and would have to drop lower on a speculative option.

He's here for the season at least. Rightly so. We talk about how strong the squad are, but the morning light reality is that other clubs also seem to have equally strong sides. It's the reality of the league.

Seems that the team are in a bad period of results and, as expected, he's not getting the slack others did. It was always expected to be an issue.

Far to early to make a jdgement but has to take a lot of blame for recent performances. Starting with feeling obligating to bring Dunk in mid game against Southampton and playing 3 at back. Then repeating system at Fulham and not having balls to leave Dunk out which meant Pervis playing at LWB. 2-0 up at Leicester with 10 mins to go. Unlike any other side only way they would score would be involvement of Vardy. Obvious thing would have been to man mark him for 10mins but no organisation just left him free twice. As for today have never seen before a first half like that against Palace. They could have scored more Not because they were good but because our defence was crap

We are not good in ANY aspect of the game right now. Defensively, midfield, attacking, finishing, set plays, managing the game. We are good at conceding two goals quickly though (did it twice today as well).

This has Sami Hyypia vibes at the moment. He looks like a child and needs to get angry with his players or drop some of them. Recalling Dunk has been catastrophic. What will he do for West Ham? Judging by the pathetic comments after the game it will be same old, same old.

Apart from Saints, Wolves, Leicester and West Ham I'd say EVERY other club has a better manager than us. Imagine what Glasner could do with all this talent. Feels horrible to write that.

I loved peak RDZ but he did turn up with half of Italy to help. We’ve basically said to FH ‘off you go’. He’s got a lot to learn about England and the Premier League but he can only do that on the job.

I'm not "Fab out" by any means. But I am "mindless, naive optimism about Fab has taken a bit of a ding lately".

Hoping a couple wins will buff it out.

As for the people saying Tony should have backed RDZ, remember that would mean we'd be playing with Mason Greenwood in the squad right now...

There is no way Bloom or Barber would have had Greenwood at the club

FH has to be given more than 15 games to get things right but equally he has to learn very, very quickly imho.
Every player we have bought in this summer were stand out players for their previous clubs. Mitoma, Ferguson, Enciso have not become bad players in the last few months.
Who has stepped up this season… maybe Ayari and Hinsh. Baleba was already improving.
I genuinely believe we have a top 6 squad and so for me there can only be 1 conclusion and that is that we aren’t playing to our strengths. Only FH controls this.
Give him time, yes, support him, for sure but let’s not think for one second that we always get these appointments right.

Anyone can be a good manager when things are going well. The true test is how they cope when form drops, players get injured etc etc. Look at Pep for example, he is losing it badly.

This will be the test for Hurzeler. We will see if he passes. Only time will tell, to sack him before he has the chance is not good. Let's find out. All I can say is you don't get to where he is at his age without having something, let's hope he does actually learn and adapt fast and gets that across to the players.

That's where we(or some of us) think Fab is a bit meh? There seems little or no emotion on touchline compared to Roberto. He would be going ballistic and rightly so. Makes me wonder a little how much respect Fab has from the senior players.

no, fair point, but a manager doesn’t have to scream like a kid, but a managers job is there to motivate, cajole, encourage and engage. With a young team he needs to guide and educate. Being conspicuous by his absence and sitting on his arse isn’t going to do any of those.
