How often did we, for example, win away at Newcastle, come back from behind against Man City and Spurs? He absolutely will if the players he invested huge sums of money on are seen to be depreciating and as a team we’re going backwards.

It’s a young team with a young coach, lots of inexperience and the wrong players currently injured.

I loved peak RDZ but he did turn up with half of Italy to help. We’ve basically said to FH ‘off you go’. He’s got a lot to learn about England and the Premier League but he can only do that on the job.

I didn’t think the new guy was going to directly be involved in helping coach the first team. More of a person who organises coaching across the different teams including u21s, and youth teams. I’m sure he can support Fab but ultimately the buck stops with Fabian.
What concerns me about Fab is that the passing structures we had with RDZ seem to have gone totally.
Coaching, from clips that I’ve seen, seem to be fitness drills and practice games played at break neck speed.
We seem to have lost the control that we had under Potter and RDZ and our ability to pass around teams has diminished.
We seem to have gone from a passing team to a helter skelter team who don’t have the defensive structure or defenders to play that way.
I’d like to see us play a more sensible midfield with Wieffer playing as a defensive midfielder and have Baleba playing a freer role to give us greater physicality and barrier in front of the back four. Almost like a back to basics stance as I think we have the attackers to change games but at present we are just Too open at the back and are conceding too many.

Agree with comment in previous post. We seem to be trying to play direct balls most of the time. Was awful to watch compared to RDZ ball. Sad to watch us play this new style.

I’m a long way from Fab out and it’s highly unlikely it would happen even if we end up on a relegation battle but Jesus am I sick of his post match interviews. Four weeks running he’s said we will learn our lessons and again going back to the f’ing process. Change the record. He didn’t even sound like he believed it himself today.

I’ve considered it. I’m very disappointed with what I’ve seen. Desperately disappointed. No patterns, no structure, defensively naive. So there, bad fan, but yes I have “considered“ it.

Putting a 31 year old in was a bloody big risk, the main risk being that you don’t know how he’ll react under pressure. Not just match pressure, he would have been under big pressure to put Dunk back in.
Injuries haven’t helped him at all. Not just the RB position but the fact he can’t pick the same 11 week to week. Where was Welbeck today? Where was flipping O’Riley?

We’ll see won’t we. Next couple of games are really important for our progress and belief in the manager. Surely by Saturday we’ll have Veltman, Welbeck and Jack H back and possibly Ferdi.
If we don’t see an improvement over our last 4 games then we are on a real slide and the pressure will build.
