Do you know what? I've probably had the best time supporting the Albion this season in 35 years. Magnificent stadium, sitting with mates I used to go home and away with years ago, competing with Leeds, Forest ,Southampton, Derby, palace etc. I don't care if we never get out of this league. How the f*** anyone can find anything to moan about this year, I will never understand.

Okay for the record the day we got promoted, I'd have snatched your hand of for 20th.

After the players Poyet has signed, and has at his disposable, I'd expect us to be around West Ham chasing the top two. The squad is good enough. The team and tatics are woefully short. Poyet like all managers do has his favourites. He refuses to change or adpat to his squad. HIS squad. Him walking off like a spoilt little child yesterday was the straw that broke the camels baack for me. No one in the squad should walk off at the end like he did. Your manager definately shouldn't abannon HIS players like Poyet did.

Eddie Howe basically played Poyet at his own game yesterday, and beat him, and Poyets ego couldn't handle it.

Did you think Burnley were better than us yesterday, I didn't, thought both teams equally poor.

yes we no all that, but weve got agreat stadium now and smashed our record transfers. , all are big signings are never in the team at the same time dont you think thats odd what was the point of buying them. whatever he says about the budget he has been able to get his top signing the special player gus words not mine then dosent play to his strengths and also he dosent play the players who can help him, he says one thing then reverts back into the same way of playing even when he brings a sub on its like for like not to change the system when it cleary isnt working .all the top managers change the system if its not working thats the point of having a good squad which i believe we have also

The emperor's new shoes in all of this is that CMS is not the player most think him to be.

Posh both score and leak goals for fun but last time he played in this league he only got ten all season.

For £2.5million we got Alex Revell 2.0.

No he didn't we were clear of the drop zone with over a month to go, and we still went down. He was backed by the board too, as the signings of Blackwell, Rodger, Beasant et al will testify.

You know as well as I do, if he had been bought in at the start, instead of penny pinching with Hinsh, we would have been mid to top end of table. He knew exactly the type of players you need in this division. And the form he got out of Mayo,,,,,, well he made Kerry look like a championship left back.

Their seem to be a number of people claiming Poyet doesn't know his best team, but which of us do. At different times this season I would have named a number of different best XIs, the fact is too many players have been inconsistent.
We are however still on the verge of the play-offs, which would have stood as a great result back in August.
You can claim we have been lucky too often this season, but you make your own luck, and how often has that LUCK come from a substitution/ tactical change made by Poyet.

Do you think you are not expecting a TINSY bit too much a TINSY bit too soon then ?
I mean we'd all love to be pushing top 2, but there are at least half a dozen clubs with more experience at this level, or who have just dropped out of the Prem, who are likely to have more of a say in it than we do this season.

Is that not worth acknowledging before you look at binning the chap who, ya know, got us pushing playoff places in the Championship at our first time back in this league for 6 or 7 years ?

I still don't know how you conclude we have the cash or players for promotion. Look at the wage bills, your argument does not stack up.

You keep going on about wage bills El Pres almost as if the league sould be deceided on who spends the most.

West Ham are the classic. They have gambled and I so hope it doesn't pay off and they go into adminastration, as it may then make the FA realise a 10 point deduction is no where near enoigh for these cheating clubs.

Fat Sam aka twat, said at the beginning of the season, Brighton are throwing silly money around over the CMS transfer, and thats why he came here. we all told the fat prick to f*** off. But Maybe theres a hint of truth in that.

After all, we turned down best part of £2m for a winger that has hardly played since, because we only play one winger at best, even though 4 of our best players are wingers!

LuaLua comes in, flash of brilliance, as a dodgey half against Forst and isn't seen since. Jake Caskey comes in plays two blinders, scores twice in two, as a offish half against a premiership side chasing the champions league, and isn't seen since. Hardly does their confidence much cop. In a division where everyone is beating everyone, ie a very closely matched division, we have the players, we are just not playing them

No. I thought we were as shit as each other. We will never know, but a more simple 4-4-2 or at least a system that the players on the pitch understand and can play, we would have beat them

It's not moaning, it's frustration of not making the best use of talent at your disposal. I too have still enjoyed this season and would have snapped your arm off for survival at the end of/beginning of this season. But with the editions we have made we deserve to be where we are or higher. Testament to that is a club like Cardiff willing to spend millions on one of our wingers who isn't even first choice.

Please no more comments about losing to Walsall years ago etc. We have been shut for most of the 36 years I've been watching the Albion. I just want us to be the best we can be and I now we can do better if Gus gets it right.

No way.

CMS is a class act, but there is no point in buying a player of his style, and not playing to it. If we're not going to play to CMS strenghts why buy him. Gus know HIS way, so why bother, or was it the ego buying someone that everyone else wanted  Posh didn't have the players we have to supply the ammo for CMS in the chamionship. We do, but we dont use them

If Gus is going to stick with Gus' way, then we may as well unload CMS as soon as the transfer window opens again, and try and get some of our money back on him

Funnily enough, saying the same thing down the Oak today with plastic man ure types.

Every home game to me, seems like an away day in my head, looking forward to it in such a massive way.

The day before, I'm chomping at the bit, to meet the usual suspects pre match pub wise, and so proud to take my boy with me, to The Albion.

Train stops at Falmer, and I just can not wait to see the stadium again. Still has me in goosebumps, everytime.

This is truly unbelievable. In terms of playing budget we are lower mid-table at best in this league, and we still have a chance of getting promoted. Staggering.

Love his work effort, but he does not have the pace at this level to beat defenders, and his finishing is not clinical enough.......IMO.

Last season he was deservedly in the League 1 team of the year, but this season, as his previous one in this league, shows him to be a fair striker but not a 15-20 goals man.

Carroll £35 million
Torres £50 million
Dzeko £20 million

5 league goals in 2012 in 32 league goals between them.

Read the posts! It's not about money! We have a great squad and it's irrelevant how much it cost, I believe in them and I believe they and Gus could do better. If I didn't think they were good enough then I would agree that we would be massively punching above our weight, but we're not.

Just need to get the stubborn non flexible approach sorted. That's all.
