Despite what I said earlier. At any one time I’ve got ten pictures of Evan Ferguson on my wall. Can I shock you? I like Evan Ferguson.

But someone on the internet told me we’ve pissed off Evan & he’s desperate to leave!?!Brighton and Hove Albion staff have been around Evan for a number of years, monitoring him, watching him, assessing goodness knows what and have obviously decided a loan or a sale would be good for BHA or/and Evan himself.
I'm pretty sure they've taken a lot of time and considered the implications of first team players getting injured and what they'll do if it happens.
The decision won't have been taken without weighing up the pros and cons.
Trust das process!!
Did you take these on a telephoto lens?Despite what I said earlier. At any one time I’ve got ten pictures of Evan Ferguson on my wall.
I’m just a fan Evan… your biggest fan…..Did you take these on a telephoto lens?
As BBC Sport online articles go, it’s very odd.Brighton willing to sell Evan Ferguson
Brighton would be willing to sell striker Evan Ferguson in the January transfer window if they receive a suitable offer.www.bbc.co.uk
Love how the BBC's Simon Stone categorically KNOWS that Brighton would sell Evan this January. No quotes. No indication of sources. But he somehow knows exactly what Tony is thinking.
Thats what I thought. They tend to post articles when a transfer has happened, or if there is some clear information that one might happen (a quote from a manager for example), or they tend to put rumours into their daily gossip section. This was written a bit more factually but without anything backing it up.As BBC Sport online articles go, it’s very odd.
They tend to play it safe and not make stuff up.
But if he has some inside info , why not say?

They’ve started with £60m for a proven prem striker, I can’t see them offering that for Ferguson, which at a guess I’d imagine is around our asking price.Isn't it pretty much what Naylor said yesterday. It's come out this afternoon that Arsenal are trying to sign Ollie Watkins, so that would rule them out.

I suspect that the default answer to Would you be prepared to listen to offers for xxx (insert any player) in this window is now yes.As BBC Sport online articles go, it’s very odd.

I thought our esteemed CEO said that we would not stand in the way of anyone leaving at the right price.I suspect that the default answer to Would you be prepared to listen to offers for xxx (insert any player) in this window is now yes.
This isn't the same as making a player available for transfer (we are activey seeking buyers), but more a realistic view that we are a selling club and every player has their price.
I don't expect any serious bids, despite some of our fans being desperate for a deal. 18-19 year olds are not even supposed to be playing first team football in the Premier League, so to write off a youngster for not scoring at this age is more than a little short sighted. Personally I have watched enough football over the years where we have gone season after season without a half decent goalscorer, to know you don't get rid of young prospects lightly.
exactly this- Barber and Bloom haver said many many times that if a bid comes in for any player that meets Brighton's price they would sell-Caceido for example- this article says nothing more than that-Brighton willing to sell if the right offer comes in-but that goes for every single player on the books and all the staffI suspect that the default answer to Would you be prepared to listen to offers for xxx (insert any player) in this window is now yes.

It doesn’t strike me as odd. Maybe the club has seen enough, knows enough, and that all things considered it’s best for everyone he moves on.I thought our esteemed CEO said that we would not stand in the way of anyone leaving at the right price.
this Ferguson stuff is very odd.
with wellbeck coming to the end of his career in the next couple of years and pedro probably heading for better things, I can’t understand why we wouldn’t develop him.
btw what happened to the other Irish laddie Mahoney (?)
O'Mahony is on loan at Portsmouth. Not playing much - been injured, I understand.I thought our esteemed CEO said that we would not stand in the way of anyone leaving at the right price.

I think you probably mean Mark O'Mahony who is on loan at Portsmouth and is currently injured.btw what happened to the other Irish laddie Mahoney (?)
Go for that pint next week?Did you take these on a telephoto lens?
We would sell anyone at the right price, wouldn’t we? Otherwise it wouldn’t be the right price.
