When he came on vs WHU just before Xmas I thought he looked really sharp, and importantly quite dangerous again, he would have set up the winner if Ayari could f***ing shoot. Then his injury reacted again to playing and he has been out ever since.
We would be MAD to sell him this window IMO. If he now wants to leave because he doesn't think he's getting a chance to play AND he is ready to play, then that is Fabian's 'fault'. My concern is that he's had so much time on the treatment table and bench here is that he now wants a fresh start. They'll be some parasite agent involved somewhere too.

It could be that he’s looking for guarantees as to game time, and FH (quite rightly) can’t provide them.

Sussex but not by the sea

But no EPL club will. You have to be fit and ready to play. If he's not then he could go on loan to Whitehawk but he still wouldn't play.
No way should anyone be guaranteed a start, not Welbeck, not Pedro, not Ferguson. You need to earn it and keep earning it.

If WHU are telling him that then they're lying, it's like the joke about hell and the salesman, they'll promise you all sorts of BS to get you to sign.

He would almost certainly get a pay rise out of any move to West Ham that might have been a consideration as well plus a signing on fee.

Evan. Another in a line of players, lamptey, goodnight, Encisco, (puts head above parapet) Fati. Who for whatever reason, injury, process, system etc, got people off their seat with periods of brilliance, only to have a break in selection, and never seem to get back to expectations.
I fail to see what JP is offering, that EF hasn't in the past.
Loan abroad or Celtic (Same thing?) Seems best option. Or maybe Sima thought that.

I hadn’t really realised the Busby babe Albion links either, before my time but really interesting stuff ⚽

Thanks for the link, really interesting read ⚽
When I were a lad I wrote to Freddie Goodwin to ask for any old kits we could have for our team. I received a very nice reply which stated they used them for training so it was a no go. Not sure what happened to that letter but I had kept it for years
