if a permanent deal is even being contemplated then it’s quite obvious that he’s done here. what an almighty shame. quite why the logic is to make our squad weaker now and bring in tzimas in the summer when we have a chance in the cup and aren’t far from europe is beyond me. especially as there’s no way spurs and united are this bad next season. i get we’re in a transition period but it seems like an utter waste
People have been saying that about Spurs and United for about 3/4 years :ROFLMAO:

Those don't read like he doesn't want EF here. If he is sold from under FH then I feel incredibly sorry for FH because if EF refinds his mojo at e.g. West Ham then it will be the beginning of the end for FH at this football club.
If however it is FH essentially pushing EF out then he deserves everything coming his way.

Either way if EF is permenantly sold this window then for the first time in the Amex era I think the fans might let the board know that this is not OK.

Even if he wants out? He has looked absolute gash for us and Ireland this season. If FH is driving him out, I’ll be pissed, as I’d give him more time if the attitude is right, if he wants out I’ll drive him wherever he’s going.

It reads to me that Ferguson wants to leave.

I can’t see how the club would be okay with FH saying “yep Evan can play on Saturday” while simultaneously negotiating his sale/loan. That would make no sense, and to allow FH to plan properly for Forest he would have been told the situation by now.

Errmmm no, we have no chance of winning the cup imo. We’ll be doing very well to get past Chelsea imo

Let me be wrong

it’s not about you being wrong, we factually do have a chance in the cup because we are still in it and therefore should want the strongest squad possible. simple as.

You can get 34/1 so go large!

I’ll pass, even with such great odds

Gilmour was played against Man U and Enciso against Norwich shortly before leaving.

It is highly unlikely that FH would be the driving force here and far more likely to be David Weir/PB/TB estimating that it is the optimal opportunity to maximise profit based on what they are seeing based on data.

we spent £200m to strengthen the squad and give it more depth, because the players were available, and they fitted the model , young - with an eye to development, likely to grow in value and from "cheaper" leagues.
And sales are always coming. THat's the model.
Surely we spent £200m because we had £200m incoming so could do so without any FFP (or whatever it's called) worries?

Billy Gilmour Mk 2?

Great player, certainly classed as an asset to the squad, but if the manager doesn’t fancy him? 🤷‍♂️

Alles nur, weil es dem Jungen vielleicht nicht gefällt, vom Manager herabgesetzt zu werden

Has the manager belittled/embarrassed him though?

I actually think that we on here have probably been quite harsh on Ferguson.

I still maintain that he did alright in his last performance for us before injury. I think FH has spoken very respectfully of Ferguson, though I don’t know if the respect is mutual, or the tone changes behind closed doors.

When he came on vs WHU just before Xmas I thought he looked really sharp, and importantly quite dangerous again, he would have set up the winner if Ayari could f***ing shoot. Then his injury reacted again to playing and he has been out ever since.
We would be MAD to sell him this window IMO. If he now wants to leave because he doesn't think he's getting a chance to play AND he is ready to play, then that is Fabian's 'fault'. My concern is that he's had so much time on the treatment table and bench here is that he now wants a fresh start. They'll be some parasite agent involved somewhere too.
