Well there lies some confusion……numerous posts saying they THINK he’s injured ….but obviously a lot who think not ……..which would tie in with any transfer/loan….must admit to not knowing why he has been out injured (that’s a definite)

ok…genuine question who would you have left out of the subs to be replaced by Ferguson if indeed he is fit
As per Fabian Huerzeler, in the post-match press conference on Saturday...."He's injured, he's injured." [see 3mins 2 secs]

So there's only confusion if you believe FH is lying....

Whilst I absolutely believe that Ferguson is and has been injured, FH did lie about why Minteh didn't start.

And when fans were turning on FH on Saturday evening, the club asked Naylor to let it out that Minteh had been dropped due to his poor pre-match timekeeping, nicely deflecting some of the anger away from FH and onto Minteh himself.

So, Ferguson is fit as a fiddle but consistently late to training....got it

And now the club are feeding Naylor information about Ferguson.
Why?
Why did the club want the narrative around Minteh changed? To protect the manager?
Why are the club now prepping the world for a possible Ferguson transfer?

I would have used his lateness to my advantage you owe me a big performance if I start you after you turned up late.

Adingra was an unused sub wasn’t he?
He was, but again given his profile I can see why he wasn’t put on in that moment. We needed the guy who would get on the end of that one late cross (ala Dunk from Groß, in the same fixture previous).

I’m only saying I can see why he made the decision.

Naylor isn't into clickbait. The club wanted the message out there.

I certainly didn’t say nor have ever thought Naylor is into click bait - I don’t pay an annual subscription for the NYT/Athletic because their sports journalists write click bait.

I also didn’t contest the veracity that the Club wanted it known they were ‘open’ to selling/bids - that goes without saying if AN is writing it.

However we have no idea what that actually means in practice, hence my reluctance to speculate and my questions.

We have no idea what the Club considers the “ight price”, whether they are prepared to accept less than he is worth (and that is directly related to how much they want to sell which in turn is related to Ferguson’s mental and physical condition.) We don’t know that Evan has asked to leave as some are suggesting or the Club has advised him to and most importantly, a question that impacts on all the above, we don’t know if the loan option is no longer on the table or whether a loan is still the most likely outcome?

Blimey! Didn't realise that was a lie, unless you're joking of course? lol

Seems a strange move to throw a young player under the bus to protect the manager! Do worry that FH really isn't up to his job!

In the video, towards the end, FH justifies playing Gruda instead of Minteh with: “Because we faced a low block, and we tried to find solutions in narrow spaces, and that's why we brought in Gruda.”

Later that evening, however, it emerged that Gruda played instead of Minteh because the latter arrived late.

I will be really cross of FAB agrees Ferguson can go on a permanent deal somewhere and the club backs him. Enciso, Buananotte and even Sarmiento look better than Gruda so far.
I find it hard to believe that Fab would have the final say if his title of head coach rather than manager means anything.

No but you were saying that 'x player is available for sale at the right price' is true for all of our players, so this report from Naylor may not mean much.

Which is exactly the point, it wouldn't be newsworthy for Naylor to write it unless the club are really making it known we are willing to sell this month.
