Spanish squad to be announced in one or two hours (cant be bothered to figure at their time zone, but its happening at "12 a clock Spanish time"). Hoping for Sanchez. Most Spanish newspapers/pundits think that they will go for someone else as the third choice (De Gea and Simon being nr 1 and 2).

Yeh, my guess is that Sanchez will fall slightly short. No shame in that though.

I suppose Kepa is an obvious 3rd choice ... as long as they don't try to sub him

Maybe, most seem to want Asenjo as the 3rd choice though. And then there are about four other candidates, including Kepa and Sanchez.

According to yesterday’s Sun (I know) Ben White has been told not to go on hols just yet ahead of tomorrow’s squad announcement. Probably bollocks though.

I wouldnt be shocked.

Would be nice for White... though Webster and Dunk are both better.

From the Athletic morning primarily about Ben Godfrey:

Southgate has watched a lot of the 23-year-old centre-back this season and he is in the mix along with the likes of Brighton’s Ben White, also 23. White and fellow Brighton defender Lewis Dunk, 29, are liked by England and a conversation has been held with the club but there has been no indication yet that either will be included.

Naylor reckons Sanchez will make the Spain squad (as per a tweet from a day or two ago)

Some suggestion Boris might remove capacity restrictions from sporting events from 21st June still. Will be interesting to see how UEFA / The FA react for Wembley.

If that does happen, what are the chances that those of us who have had our tickets cancelled will get them back?

Unlikely I guess because they've already re-balloted. But will open up for further ballots again I guess

I'm guessing it's White's pace that puts him ahead - but I agree, White has the potential to be the best of the 3 but right now Dunk is some way ahead of him.
