Here is something to look forward to in 2014 , how do you say stop eating my bloody goldfish in Bulgarian

UK Immigration Prepares for Influx of Romanian and Bulgarian Immigrants | UK Immigration Barristers

Would be fine if we had the houses and services to cope, but we don't. It's a stupid ruling with absolutely no thought of how this country and other countries in Europe could cope with such an influx. This is another reason why the EU is crap. We can't make our rules on who we allow in anymore. We need to desperately think about the future of our own services, because eventually the NHS will be gone forever. We are apparently already short of housing, so what happens when we add another 2,3,4 million people to our population to come and live, work in the UK, something has to give.

Get OUT, waste of money and it should be the BRIC countries we want to be trading with now - without the ****ing tariffs!

because......? I thought the main raesons why people wanted to get out of the EU was that they were being rules by the EU? How would this be different for Turkey?
I'd think the main reason people care is because of money. Either how much we're subsidising poorer countries, or how much we're benefiting in trade. The rules that don't affect money are not a big deal to most people.

but I assume you are not thinking through Turkish eyes.
Not really, only that they're a poorer country and would expect to gain financially by joining.

And of course, after being shed of the EU shackles, the UK couldn't give the companies equal or better terms than the EU ? As for access to the EU market, if we traded on the same terms as Norway and Switzerland with the EU then we would be trading as equals with Germany and co. All this we'd never sell anything to the EU and non-EU countries in would stop investing in the UK is scaremongering by the pro-EU lobby. In fact, some companies have said they definitely wouldn't pull out of the UK if we abandoned the EU.

I am not sure there are many cars manufactured in Norway and Switzerland.
What sort of terms do you imagine the UK would have to offer ? Please bear in mind the EU population is 500 million, maybe if we all agreed to own 10 cars each and replace them every 5 years, that might do it.

No doubt at all. GET OUT. Pussy footing governments Lab / Con / Lib all frightened to make a decision. The vast 'silent' majority in the country all moan about the EU but don't do anything about it and vote the same way each time. UKIP is the answer.

In true Mock the Week fashion... if UKIP is the answer, what is the question?

Do you wish the United Kingdom to be part of the European Union ?

And a proper referendum - you know - the one none of the main political parties have the balls to have !!!!!!!

Id argue that until we are out of the EU we wont realise how much we benefited from trade when we were in. However Id agree with all the other points.

neither were in the old EEC, nor necessarily want to have those industries. Honda and Nissan are not here because of the EU they were here before, when it was the EEC. people need to start to seperate the original trading bloc with the newer political integration machine.

this is sooooooooooo right

Why is it so difficult for Con, Lib, Lab to talk about it with the same passion as Farage. Farage is the only one in tune with general public feeling towards Europe. I still want this country to trade with Europe, but what I don't want is a group of individuals laying down the law of this country. It is actually quite pathetic how this country has been steam rollered over the last 10 years, as well as costing this country billions of pound. Wonder what the money could have done for the people of the UK.

Let's be clear then... you are saying you are sure that our trade will improve even though european markets will be harder to get into as our products will be taxed and cost of production may be increased due to the lack of cheap labour force and the increasing cost of raw materials from abroad?

I may be wrong but your glib answer didnt really prove anything did it?

Quick example.... as Turkey is outside the EU it is forced to pay high tax for goods to enter the EU... to balance against this they therefore increase the tax on foreign products to offset... the result is that a basic petrol Nissan Note new will cost you 15 thousand pounds here. How much is it in EU UK?

Thats actually not true. They are not here because it costs too much to produce in the UK. Its cheaper elsewhere. Compared to EU countries our workforce is quite expensive.

Whereas you'll have us believe we would be able to renegotiate favourable trading terms with all 26 nations whilst outside the EU. Either that or tell us we'll be alright because Switzerland and Norway seem to be doing alright.

Erm, no. Stay in with bells on. But no to the Euro, and we shouldn't be bailing it out.

is the absolute and correct answer

OUT. We are treated as second class for not being in the euro. The EU has become a dictatorship.
