8850 which you failed to fill all the time

so which of the last 24 yrs have you had bigger crowds ?

Worth bearing in mind that your club robbed and thieved its way to sustaining a place in the top 2 divisions during this time, so bigger crowds would obviously be inevitable.

Instead of assembling squads we couldn't afford and stiffing everyone in the process (twice), we paid our bills and plummetted accordingly.

Do carry on though.

You can tell there's not many jobs available in London as all Palace fans seem to do is spend their life on our forum about one great league start. I think it's funny how when we were top we weren't allowed to gloat or be happy because it was 'only a few weeks in' yet it's only October and Palace are doing well, suddenly that must mean they're fantastic...The table doesn't lie but it doesn't start to shape up until after Christmas.

you only have to look back at threads on here and the bbs to see brighton fans saying how great you are and gloating
i agree re the table though it will change , nobody knows which way

ps no jobs in London thats a new one !

I haven't read this, so this has probably been mentioned.

Best team Palace have played, Wigan.

We'd probably still be in if we'd had their run.

But fine, whatever, enjoy a proper team if you get one, as we did a couple of rounds ago.

But only some of them pay it.

Yours isn't one of them.

we didn't ask to go into administration, if we hadn't we would have carried on with debts just like you and every other club
but its all worked out nicely for us and things are looking good

you might have been earlier but not on your current form
i expect we will get one of the big boys like you did and will be out next round
but we are enjoying it all at the moment

Well thats lovely then isn't it. Long as you're alright, stuff everyone else who you owed money to. I agree, its worked out splendidly, you must be chuffed and very proud.

Just for the record, we didn't ask to get relegated to the arse-end of the League, but thats generally what happens when you are forced to live within your means and cannot afford to employ the type of players who can keep you in the Championship. Not that it ever stopped your mob.

you mean soppy threads like this

C Palace 11,865........Crawley 2,862

and there are plenty of brighton fans on the bbs

you could of course ban away fans so you can all tell each other how wonderful you are and how you are !

There maybe plenty of Brighton fans on bbs but like I said, I ain't one of them.
I couldn't really be arsed to log in every time we got a win chirp about it, it's seriously cringeworthy mate but you crack on if that's what floats your boat, like a bunch of f***ing schoolgirls if you ask me.

I don't want opposition fans banned but you lot just embarrass yourselfs when you log in about 2 minutes after a game to have little pop, it's as if you only want a win so you can come on here & make a girly "cough cough" thread, why not take the time to have a beer with ya mates after a game (that is if you even go) just enjoy your win & then by all means come on here & start a thread that's a bit more original.

Also you lot seem to be proud that the further your team goes or the better they are doing the bigger crowds you draw in.... Arnt you ashamed you can only pull in the numbers when you're winning ?
Thats glory hunting man u style shit support aint it surely ?
Where are your die hards ?

Where are your die hards ?

This from a fan of palace, you know palace the club of 4000 crowds in the mid 80s before Coppell. Is York City game hard core enough? Is 3000/4000 travelling 150 mile round trip to Gillingham hard core? Is 7000/8000 at an athletics track playing lower league football for 15 years hardcore? Or 34000 against Rochdale in the third division diehard enough? Or away attendances bigger than yours in divisions below the championship hardcore enough for you? Come back when you don't have to beg people to turn up to selhurst with kids for a quid when you are top four in the championship - and you will still struggle to get 20,000 through the gate.

Do you get extra points for having more 'fans' than other teams then??
NO !! Well stop going on about it then...your 'fans' will soon disappear as you continue your slide into Division 1 where you belong
but do try and stay up cos we like playing you lot now and again
COYE !!

More fans means more income. More income means we can pay our bills, buy better players as we build from here and better wages in the long run. Admin (twice) is not an option.

Good stuff, what did you do to celebrate, go out with your mates, or spend the evening on a Brighton forum?
Chance of playing in Europe? If you win, I shall take my hat off and bow. But you're not going to, which is why even your manager didn't field his first 11.
That's one way of filling your ground I guess. The Man U fans can watch their team play their local club, and we can see another Cantona Kick stlye image with the home fans wearing their Man U hats.

Got to be in it to win it long shot I know but still true.

Didnt get in til 1 am shite train journey if you must know.

It'll be 90% filled Saturday!!! 18500 ST holders if they return next year then I will take my hat off as well but you wont.
