if you don't like Palace fans posting on here then don't reply

our support doesn't change much for the last 20 years its usually around 15-17 k that is our die hard support not struggling to get 7k diehards like you
or does 3 months of 20k crowds now mean they are all die hards . i think not

the people who do seem like a bunch of school girls as you out it are the ones saying you are a bigger club after 24 years of lower crowds

So how were we supposed to get crowds bigger 7k when that was the capacity ?
It does not mean the demand was not there.

And I havnt said we are a bigger club yet however I do not expect attendances to drop as low as yours but I guess we'll have to wait & see.
My gripe is with the amount of shit threads started on here as soon as you get a win..... Your playing well at the minute but some of these threads a playground shit.

Oh & I'm fine with you lot posting on here btw it's just when it's the same old crap it gets a bit tedious

if you look at your accounts i bet you didn't balance your books
you think we cheated i think you should start a campaign and get us thrown out of the league!
and don't forget all the other clubs who have been in administration
in fact while you have a campaign to change the league rules why don't you just make all clubs outside brighton illegal and then you can win the league !

I'm not interested in campaigning to have you "thrown out of the League". Its just a bit rich for your mob to continually crow about your superior crowds and league position compared with ours over the last 20 years, when you've achieved it by having all your debts written off. TWICE.

We, on the other hand, serviced our debts and remained solvent DESPITE losing our ground and playing for 2 years in Kent. Inevitably that took its toll and we plumetted the divisions, but I'm proud of the fact that following the departure of Archer, the clubs owners just about kept the club on an even keel, on a shoestring budget, where everybody got paid and nobody got stiffed. Yes that meant we could only afford shit players, but unlike Palace, we cut our cloth according to our circumstances.

You on the other hand are the only club in the entire League to have gone into administration twice. You should be embarrassed, yet you boast.

Classy.

Seriously mate, you're like a dog with a bone not letting this go.

Perhaps you should consider something along these lines for your headstone so your legacy of Daily Mail style outrage can be passed on from generation to generation for centuries.

All the while you mugs proudly LORD it over us for not being out of the top 2 tiers of english football since the 70's, I will continue to point out the manner in which your club went about achieving it.

It is my solemn duty.

:)

I'm not one to bang on about anything, top flight football, attendences etc but I grudgingly understand that it's a bit tedious reading the 'banter' as it's a vicious circle of repetitiveness &, quite frankly, is all rather dull.

This. There really is no comeback to it. Palace's position was built entirely on living above their means and cheating people.

Its a bit of an inconvenient truth, I grant you.

Proves that old mantra about being glad to be out of the competition "so we can concentrate on the League" is just ermm...sour grapes?

Btw it's "who's"..
Not really , if it was the FA Cup there would be abit of grudging respect / more hatred that you've done it

but it's the league cup - it's like winning the JPT , nobody cares!

You're making Archer, Stanlet, Bellotti out to be HONEST then? They were "Brighton" and admittedly they did kep you from admin (just). But at the time you were hardly playing mega-wages were you in the bottom tier of the League. The sale of your GK Beney bailed you out for - what - £350k was it?

Whereas Palace went firstly into admin (and are not the only club to have done so) after getting promotion to the Premiership in 1996/7, and then letting people like Venables get the claws in. Result, overpaid overseas players, and admin.

You went into admin twice. We didnt.

We scraped our way to ensuring that all creditors were paid. You didn't.

You lived above your means buying top quality players who you couldn't afford. We didn't.

We sold players when we had to.

Are all palace fans gloating cocks that as soon as they win a game they come onto another club forum with these soppy little "cough cough" threads.
I've never signed up to a palace forum as I don't see myself as some spotty f***ing nerd that feels the need to give it the big I am on another teams forum.... It's proper f***ing sad lads but what do we expect from a bunch of jack laws

"cough cough" ffs what an absolute gimp

It's not worth getting into a debate with somebody who has absolutely no grip of the history as to what happened.

i don't come on here to crow about crowds i have pointed out some facts ie 24 yrs in response to the crowing of some albion fans who have crowed about bigger crowds for 3 months !
i'm not at all embarassed about administration its part of life in football for many clubs and if we had cheated the league would have done something about it
the sanction for admin is league points deducted, we were good enough to survive in the league despite this unlike most teams who suffer relegation
you may think by your own moral code that we cheated but quite frankly it sounds a bit pathetic and no matter how many times you repeat it the situation will remain the same, unless as i say you want to try and change the league rules

I suppose when you have had to put up with watching Crystal Palace's shower of shite over the last few years, a cup run must be a breath of fresh air. Give them a break.

my point about the 7k was that you failed to get capacity crowds on a regular basis and couldn't manage 7k
i think the capacity was 8 or 9 wasn't it in the end

i tend to respond to posts where people get a bit carried away ie 3 months of better crowds
you will always get some starting threads from both sides after results its part of the banter that comes with a rivalry
i agree some of it does get tedious sometimes
