There maybe plenty of Brighton fans on bbs but like I said, I ain't one of them.
I couldn't really be arsed to log in every time we got a win chirp about it, it's seriously cringeworthy mate but you crack on if that's what floats your boat, like a bunch of f***ing schoolgirls if you ask me.

I don't want opposition fans banned but you lot just embarrass yourselfs when you log in about 2 minutes after a game to have little pop, it's as if you only want a win so you can come on here & make a girly "cough cough" thread, why not take the time to have a beer with ya mates after a game (that is if you even go) just enjoy your win & then by all means come on here & start a thread that's a bit more original.

Also you lot seem to be proud that the further your team goes or the better they are doing the bigger crowds you draw in.... Arnt you ashamed you can only pull in the numbers when you're winning ?
Thats glory hunting man u style shit support aint it surely ?
Where are your die hards ?

if you don't like Palace fans posting on here then don't reply

our support doesn't change much for the last 20 years its usually around 15-17 k that is our die hard support not struggling to get 7k diehards like you
or does 3 months of 20k crowds now mean they are all die hards . i think not

the people who do seem like a bunch of school girls as you out it are the ones saying you are a bigger club after 24 years of lower crowds

Well thats lovely then isn't it. Long as you're alright, stuff everyone else who you owed money to. I agree, its worked out splendidly, you must be chuffed and very proud.

Just for the record, we didn't ask to get relegated to the arse-end of the League, but thats generally what happens when you are forced to live within your means and cannot afford to employ the type of players who can keep you in the Championship. Not that it ever stopped your mob.

ah you sound so bitter perhaps you should petition the league to change the rules and get us thrown out, then you would be better than us
you didn't live within your means you had debt just like everyone else
it could have happened to you

What debt was that? Our ground was sold to pay off debt and we were homeless but then you knew that. When didn't we live within our means after that?

It's brilliant for you actually. It takes you away from the fact that you all have to live on the worlds biggest council estate.

ah a Brighton snob
not that many council estates in Croydon compared to other parts of London
but those that are there provide good housing for those in need

there are council estates in Brighton as well i wonder what those residents who support Brighton think of you

firstly before that i know you had debts
after that are you suggesting you made a profit every year with crowds as low as 2000 i don't think so
perhaps you should check your accounts and see if i am wrong

and not quite right...one can always take a point in time to suit ones argument..so i will take a time wen we were regularly getting crowds in excess of 20k at the goldstone...was at one game with 33k...loved it

i've been at some of those but thats a long time ago

the league cup 2 days after we played them in the league its not a competition many fans in the country go for

almost as bas as the paint trophy where you got 3k last year v orient

The paint trophy is not comparable with the Carling Cup. Try the sell out crowd against Man City of 8729. That was a capacity crowd.
Going back to the 'debts' we were kept going by our directors putting their money in with no hope of return until we could get a ground. We knew we were running at a loss but enough people were prepared to shoulder that until we could compete on an even keel. This season is the first in 14 years that we have had a ground and a decent income. Going into administration wasn't an option because we didn't have any assets.

That's not the point though is it. Who is saying that we were making a profit in this time exactly?

We sold our best players, we sold our ground etc etc, as to pay off any debts, live within our means and balance the books - and our league position reflected this.

You on the other hand... kept on paying high wages for players good enough to keep you in the championship, thus increasing debt rather than looking at reducing it.

You basically did what Pompey did when they got in the prem in the hope that staying up would pay a part of the debts they had accrued. Only in your case you were fortunate enough to stay by the skin of your teeth in the championship year after year by essentially cheating.

Well done for getting into the qtr's, but it doesn't really mean much unless you happen to get to the final which whilst it is a possibility is quite unlikely. I'm of the opinion that a cup run regardless of whether it is Brighton or any other team can cause more harm than good, especially when a team year on year flirting with relegation or a team that has just been promoted is concerned as the priority has to be safety first.

Obviously not implying that you will get relegated because your team are looking good so far this year, but if you had the choice would you rather win the carling cup and get european football or get relegated to League 1?

if you look at your accounts i bet you didn't balance your books
you think we cheated i think you should start a campaign and get us thrown out of the league!
and don't forget all the other clubs who have been in administration
in fact while you have a campaign to change the league rules why don't you just make all clubs outside brighton illegal and then you can win the league !

i don't expect us to go any further than the next round but its great for us
we don't expect to get promoted so a cup run is just fantastic
