Do Brazil actually want to play this game? Or are they only playing England for the money as usual and will they therefore play it like a Sunday morning kickabout? Tune into ITV to find out!

The Brazilians are taking their World Cup warm up games VERY seriously. They beat a full strength Japan team 4-0 back in October.

If they can beat a decent team like Japan by 4 goals what are they going to do against sorry old England?

England vs. Brazil - yawn

..maybe once upon a time it would have interested people, 30, 40 years ago

but these days it's just Arsenal vs. Chelsea.

FA......get a life, you sad, sad, misguided tragic people.

It really REALLY annoys me on this forum that some people refuse to support England because they haven't done well in recent years and they are not very trendy, instead pledging allegiance to Germany/Spain due to some dodgy family link. Presumably the same people that have a go at United fans born in Surrey.

By all means feck off and glory support Germany/Spain but don't fill threads about England with blitherings about how they're not very good alluding to a smugness about how great Spain/Germany. England are a decent national team that are not quite good enough to win major tournaments, some of us can accept that and support regardless.

Re: England v Brazil

Kieran Gibbs is pretty poor. Ordinary, average player. Replacing Ashley Cole with Clichy was one thing, to then downgrade even further to Gibbs is why Arsenal have slipped so far.

:wanker:

Since you know all about the Japan team tell me which players they have in each position that are better than England then? Honda? Wilshere is comparable if not better.

Japan have realised that football is a TEAM game and is made up of perhaps less skillful but extremely fit players that always give 110% This ethic has got them further in international tournaments than an England team full of a few individually skillful players that earn shit loads from their clubs but couldn't give a toss about playing for their national team.

No such thing as 110%

Maximum effort is 100% – 110% is beyond your capacity.
Even 101% means you are making an effort beyond your actual capacity. Some may argue it’s justified as you’re increasing your effort beyond what you thought was possible for you – yet that’s irrelevant as the percentage is a measure of maximum output. You can still only give 100%. If your effort output has increased, you need to recalibrate, so what you before called 100% effort, should now be seen as 91% effort.

This! And, in general, why are people so hooked on being 10% Italian and 2% Swiss etc. why can't people just be proud to be English?

Back to tomorrow evening's big ITV event then.

So who reckons Gail is going to end up as a lodger to her scabby son? I'm loving that whole storyline as I find Gail absolutely f***ing HIDEOUS. Her face makes me feel SICK.

I know it's been posted dozens of times before...but any excuse eh!

With regard to game tomorrow, whilst I will always support England I've got a feeling Neymar will run the show up top for Brazil. Great talent, and will no doubt make the move over to Europe for a handsome fee in a few years or so.

Brazil could field 11 Dustbins Tonight and still Tyldsley and Townsend will be masturbating over how good Brazil are .Why does the fake Irishman Townsend do England games?

Unlike 75% of you (NSC poll stat) my sporting horizons extend further than thinking that the only thing that matters in sport is Brighton getting three points from the next league game, so I'm genuinely looking forward to it. Although regardless of the result I shall hate the aftermath. It cannot be taken as 'just' a result; it will either be an indicator that we're well on the way to reclaiming our rightful, historical place as one of the very top nations who always win tournaments, or a sign that we're (for the first time in our history) absolute rubbish with the worst team in living memory.

Also EastEnders isn't on on a Wednesday. Isn't Max Branning a great, forgiving human being? In all his recent arguments with Tanya he has never ONCE said "Yes I do have feelings for my stripper wife Tanya. Why? Well for all her faults her and her new lover have never DRUGGED ME AND BURIED ME ALIVE! Call me old-fashioned but I think that might just count for something!"

Here, there and everywhere
I've just been given free tickets for the match, so there will now be 2 Albion supporters going.

Looking forward to the match .. not looking forward to the England band or £10 for a programme

I used to love international football, I can't stand it now. I will probably watch the 1st half, before all the subs etc and it peters out.

It will be interesting to see if Walcott and Rooney play upfront, but I don't really care
