BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany’s top two Bundesliga divisions are seemingly not affected by a global match-fixing scandal that has involved hundreds of games across several continent.

Has this changed?

They're not affected? Good to know they don't feel fussed about it. So it was just the German cup and the German sides in the CL?

I'm afraid it was. :lolol:

Almost as funny as you sticking up for BRAZILIAN left back Andre Santos who must be good because he's BRAZILIAN, in the face of massive evidence to the contrary.

It wasn't funny because he was basically making up everything I said. Unless that's funny, in which case I guess it was.

Do Brazil actually want to play this game? Or are they only playing England for the money as usual and will they therefore play it like a Sunday morning kickabout? Tune into ITV to find out!

If we win then yes we were taking it seriously and they weren't. If we lose we're shot and we're taught a lesson! Save u coming on North Stand Krauts tomorrow :athumb: COME ON ENGLAND!

First I have heard about in. Admittedly not seen much news today. Care to enlighten me with some specifics?

At least 425 referees, players and other officials were suspected of involvement, with matches rigged so that major sums of money could be won through betting.

Some 151 suspects were living in Germany, 66 in Turkey and 29 in Switzerland but suspects fixing matches in other parts of Europe and around the world are also being probed, Europol said.

====

I'm guessing it's probably just a coincidence they all live in Germany, and your Glenn-Murray esque response will explain how it all actually makes England look shit, and Germany is perfect.

But I didn't say that either. Anyway I'm happy to be corrected on Santos. Personally, I saw him make a 2 or 3 very good tackles and really didn't notice him one way or the other apart from that. To me though, he will always be one for the Arsenal boo boys to get ready to slaughter, sometimes unreasonably. Not unlike Phillipe Senderos who was also a bit shit, but equally in truth would walk into most Premiership sides and maybe 22 of 24 Championship sides.

But anyway, none of that detracts from Herr Tubthumper's observation of you probably pointing to a scrappy 1-0 win over Brazil in city break mode as evidence that England are world beaters, well it remains amusing to me.

So you don't actually know if, allegedly, any German games were fixed? Just that some alleged fixers were living in Germany?

I've never referred to England as anything more than a Top 8 team at times. Bizarre.

Hhahaha amazing! I can't believe you actually managed it! You're right, ALL 151 suspects just happen to live in Germany.

He was utterly shit, as 95% of both Albion and Arsenal fans spotted.

Did you notice his complete lack of positional sense off the ball? The fact he had no interest whatsoever in tracking back? The fact Arsenal looked far, far, far more threatening down the left when Gibbs came on?

Back to tomorrow evening's big ITV event then.

So who reckons Gail is going to end up as a lodger to her scabby son? I'm loving that whole storyline as I find Gail absolutely f***ing HIDEOUS. Her face makes me feel SICK.

What have they been accused of though? Can't you just tell me? In which countries were the fixed games?

Let me guess, Gibbs is a future England world beater?

No. Because the new Arsenal signing Monreal will be the first hoice left back, and Gibbs will spend the next two years on the bench.

Not that this affects England. Baines actually IS a very, very good player, and will be the England left back for the next four years.
