I'm assuming you've never watched Kane, Lineker, Shearer, Ronaldo, Owen, Lewandowski, Suarez, Muller, Greaves (I could go on and on)

Greedy bastards to a man

(And before you say it, they were all greedy bastards at 20, before they became good)
I bet none of them had the shots to goals ratio of enciso even at 20.

They don’t need 100 shots to score a goal.

Let Dunk continue to take those freekicks and let us know when you had enough. 10? 20? 50? More?

I really can't be arsed to look as my kids and their partners are out on the piss and I have to walk the dog. But I'll bet that they hadn't played 40 top class games and 20 odd internationals at 20, because as pointed out earlier, Kane hadn't played a game for Spurs and Jamie Vardy and Ian Wright had never played a professional game at that age

Where about on that list do you see Enciso ending up?

End of thread.

Now, a more interesting question is this.

How many consecutive wanky threads should an NSC member be allowed to start before the moderators are required to Get Rid?

2?
3?
5?

Hmmm.....

But we have spent quite a few games passing the ball to someone in the penalty box - and it has not got us very far. We keep over-passing, and not scoring. So - whilst statistically we may have a better chance of scoring - it's not actually happening.

That's not what I said - if you read my posts I have said that he did indeed pass quite a bit, but then it came to nothing.

Again - I think he has. He wasn't just randomly shooting from everywhere last night. When he shot, it was generally the best thing to do in that particular situation, and if the shot wasn't on - he passed. A much more mature performance than some of his earlier games when he did indeed just shoot all the time. But neither option worked out.
Spot on.

Edit!

Why not ask @Bozza to make you a moderator then you could machete your way through threads, posts and posters you don’t like?

Loan him out to an environment where people demand things from him rather than take every opportunity to suck his toes.

Statistically speaking this is a player who needs five times as many chances as Aaron Connolly to score a goal.
He needs to play somewhere where he needs to perform to be considered a super talent/superstar instead of in Brighton where he can do nothing game after game and still be fan favorite/messia.

He needs to learn and he won't do that in a place where the fans love him for always taking the wrong decision.
He’s a far better footballer than Connolly… you’ve just got an undeniable man crush on wee Aaron is all… I reckon in a certain light, statistically - you wouldn’t miss 5 opportunities to suck his little toes… 😂

Stop calling people out for being bias whilst BEING MASSIVELY BIAS to your little leprechaun 🍀 of love 🥰

On another note, little leprechaun of love is a great name for a 70s novelty single… I’m willing to bet a HWT owns the Swedish picture sleeve edition, if you’d like —- I can put in a word, get you a copy… mates rates ?!?

Of course he is a far better footballer than Connolly ffs.

If I would have wanted to compare him with a good footballer I would have picked... Messi or someone.

But I picked Aaron to show that Enciso is 5x less efficient than one of the worst strikers we had in the PL.

Even if his technique, dribbling and work rate is excellent, Julio Enciso will never ever become a starting player in a big league if he doesn't improve his efficiency. Regardless of how "exciting" NSC find him and his 0 goals.

Akin to a Julio swivel, you’ve side stepped the slightly odd Sweirish bromance, tipped the shoulder on the run & blazed it right over the f***ing bar with an argument seemingly based on Julio post injury and ‘crazy Fabs’ (as I now refer to him) bizarre freeze out… NICE WORK Swanny.

(You defo have a bit of a thing for Aaron)

Although, let’s be fair… it’s probably more to do with a ‘misunderstood kindred spirit’ - is it not? The wasted talent, the mis-spent youth, the what could have beens ? The sad reality of the near has been 😂
Always someone else to blame ???? 😭😭
The misunderstood genius.. ffs lol no, you’re bang average, like me … a nothing with a YouTube channel and an unhealthy obsession with being RIGHT 100% of the time.

Julio has the world at his feet, he’s on the cusp of near brilliance all the time… sure, he’s greedy, makes mistakes and blazes things high and wide BUT anyone with any understanding of player development can see if he has the right coach, the sky is the limit.

Over to crazy Fabs.

But I do accept that you have now agreed that was a little over the top
Yes, at first I thought his stats were just bad - but when I realised they are the worst in all Europe, even I had to admit there’s room for improvement 😆😆

To be clear, in a nutshell my view is he’s not going to be good enough. He’s wild and reckless and I don’t think his temperament is right. Really, if you look at him as raw talent and ability, the way he plays- if he were to develop fully then he looks like he’d be up there with Ronaldo but I don’t think that will ever happen. He won’t even make that list of yours I doubt.

I think there’s a lot of players in our team not playing to their potential and the fact that he was man of the match yesterday is more an indication of the rest of the team.

Not a chance, even if everything you say was correct and he was able to develop a better attitude - which I doubt - his temperament will prevent him from being successful.

Like so many things on NSC, everything will become blindingly obvious over time, whatever our opinions are now. And in a couple of years time when it starts to become clear, you'll find me here on the same account, being honest and taking responsibility for what I have posted

What a massive bunch of bullshit.

What f***ing "bizarre freeze out"?
Enciso f***ed off to the Olympics at the beginning of the season instead of staying with the team - HIS decision and HIS problem.
Enciso got the chance from start in every single cup game, and didn't take it. Simon Adingra grabbed his with both feet and scored in every single game. Meanwhile Julio Enciso shot seven times against Crawley - often with a player in much better position if he would have given a f*** about his teammates - and didn't find the net. HIS decisions and HIS problems.
Julio Enciso has played more than 1700 minutes for club and country this year under RDZ, Hurz, Daniel Garnero and Gustavo Alfaro and he's repaid the faith with TWO goals. HIS decisions and HIS problems.

And why the f*** do you throw a bunch of personal attacks on me just because I think the striker who has scored twice (..for Paraguay) in 30 hours of football shouldn't be crowbarred into the team?

What a complete psychosis. Never in my life before at any football board have I needed to argue against people who thinks someone who has scored 0 goals from 90+ attempts in 1.5 seasons is anything but completely shit, but there's a first for everything I guess.

Anyway, people with the "Enciso is the GOAT" attitude have no right to ever complain about "inefficent strikers" or say "he should have scored there" since they've dedicated themselves to worshipping the FACTUALLY least efficient striker in European top football.

Keep him

He offers something different.
He shoots often with a high percentage on target.

Impact sub or starter against a team playing a low block.
Won't always work, but nothing does.
The xG for all his attempts last night was 0.5 - it's about when to shoot or not, and he was trying too hard last night as he was desperate to score another worldy.

A bit like going to a pub when newly single, and getting zero interest when the week before you were in a relationship and attracting them like flies round a cow's arse.
