Why the rush to get rid? Can't we at least see what he does in half a season in The Championship, and in pre-season next year, before jumping to conclusions?
If FH sticks around I think you can take it Enciso is gone. Not even been given a chance, dropped from the squad of a team who have been shit in creating in two consecutive games is mind boggling to me.

You can keep on saying it, and it will still remain a trope of Brighton fans who don't like it that their players go to their international teams to play football.
Was FH even here when that was going on? And you think that FH, who picks the team, left him out from the Fulham squad because he wants to play international football? Or is it that TB or even PB has encouraged FH to leave him out because one or both are peeved that he played for Paraguay over the summer?

Yes FH was here when Enciso went to the Olympics. Having already played at the Copa America it meant he missed pretty much all of pre-season. There is no mandatory release for the Olympics, clubs can say no. Julio wasn't in the originally announced squad or stand by players when Paraguay as the club refused to release him. He must have pushed heavily to go, and given that we'd previously let Alexis Mac Allister travel to the delayed 2020 Olympics we probably felt saying no would do more harm than good in our relationship with him.

So while he isn't being deliberately left out because he wants to play international football, the fact that he arrived back late from the summer break has put him on the back foot and probably had a knock on effect that he's now massively out of form/trying too hard when he gets on the pitch, which is what has led to his current absence from the squad.

The fact that he asked to play for the U21's because he wanted some game time etc shows that his attitude is in the right place it's just his form at the moment doesn't warrant a place in the squad and that is more than likely a correlation of events going right back to the knee injury he picked up at the start of last season.

I think he’s had chances recently - I.e Liverpool in the cup and of course training. Clearly something’s gone on and FH doesn’t think he warrants a starting place

He's been utterly woeful in every appearance he's had this season. Weve got too many options with players that are actually happy to do the teamwork rather than just run and smash the ball from 25 yeards over and over,

I don’t think there’s any likelihood of FH leaving, top 10 team, playing relatively well.

Re Enciso, in the appearances in front of a new manager, fleeting or not, he has given zero indication of being likely to create anything. I think @Joey Jo Jo Jr. Shabadoo has nailed it, but it is quite sad to see the deterioration since the Wolves away game last season.

Perhaps his knee is still troubling him, but as others highlight his biggest crime seems to be trying too hard.

Has he actually changed? He was very much like this before he hit a little purple patch before his injury. Even in those games he was still selfish, didn't track back much or work for the team as much as others. The difference was he scored and got some assists.
I don't think he has regressed at all, he is still raw and not very hard working - this can all improve in time. I think people are just exaggerating how he played before his injury due to that purple patch.

When I turned 18 my mum took me out for a meal in Brighton and then onto Sergeant Yorke Casino for my first adult gamble.

I won about £200, and thought it was the best thing ever. I'd had a good night out and went home with more money than I started with.

As it turned out, it was the worst thing that could have happened to me - it took me a very long time to properly understand that gambling rarely works out like that.

In the same manner, Enciso scoring those worldies against Chelsea and Man City may not have been best for his long-term development, as it seems he thinks he can do it every bloody time he's about 30 yards out. And he can't.

Encouraged by the “Shooooot” pissheads in the stands.

I imagine his complaining to the Paraguayan media, and him leaking team news that he wasn't in the squad, would be badly received by the club too. Petulant.

Time for a loan, with a view to a summer sale.
Whilst FH wipes millions of pounds off Enciso & Fergusons valuations by refusing to play them. He would have a point if the team was fully firing without them.
I’m not sure the clubs business model will suffer it for two of their young stars.

AS with every player who appears with a bit of 'wow' it gets recognised and nullified pretty quickly by the senior pros . . . .then they have to work double hard to get anywhere near that 'apparent' level again

see the Stains lad everyone was frothing at the gash about last week

Wee Aaron. . . .

To a lesser extent Ferguson, Adingra, Buonanotte, BArco and Enciso all fall into the same camp

I wish a few more would occasionally let rip from 25-30 yards out! Sometimes such efforts will succeed, with or without a deflection or two; just as likely as passing it back and re-cycling it to the opposite wing, rinse and repeat.

I might struggle to find it again now, but a few weeks ago I posted a link to an article which suggested Baleba is the Premier League leader for those who let rip most often from the "SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!" zone.

That was a great finish, controlled, calm - not the usual run onto a loose ball and wallop it scenario we’ve often seen from him. Bissouma would often do the same

Interesting, because even though he has managed a couple of great strikes he's still one of the last players I'd want to attempt a thirty yard punt at goal. It's intriguing how folk forget the multiple attempts that end up in Row Z
