dropped from the squad tonight, if you believe the paraguayan media. suppose we’ll find out sooner rather than later….
…surely that wouldn’t be for solly, would it?

I wouldn’t have thought Solly will be on the bench. Probably Gruda, Adingra and Minteh.

Gruda 20, Adingra 22 and Minteh 20, with the other youngsters currently out on loan, Enciso could have his work cut out to make the squad.

I saw a statistic lately that Albion players have run and sprinted more than any other Premier team. I think with this season's squad we're beginning to see why, if you want to remain in it :albion:

Talking/leaking team selections with the media is a big no no. Not good.

Thank god it was FH who made this decision. Imagine if evil Potter or RDZ had, the ensuing nsc uproar.
While it was a thing not long ago to see Enciso as great due to him "making people stand up when he blasts it over the bar 12 times per game", I think people have realised that... he ain't doing all that much.

At games, do you get the same impression with all TV angles and replays?, for quite some time he plays ‘head down football’.

His mind made up on receiving the ball 40 yards out to slalom past the opposition and score a worldie, his team-mates ignored.

Meant … what I see at games, do you note similar on the box.
Yes, kind of.

Talented young player struggling to compete and believing the solution is to score a long shot from 50 meters.

As I've said for months now, don't think he'll be around by February. Probably a loan but if we get offers for £40m on a player that has done nothing for 18 months I think Tony would give it a thumbs up.

I'm not sure anyone would be willing to pay £40m for him at the moment. I think a loan would suit all parties, he needs regular game time to find form and confidence again, and we can keep a player who has big potential. A confident Enciso is a different animal to what we've been seeing in glimpses this season

Not sure confidence is the main issue to be addressed. It's his decision making and for the good of the team just doing some of the simple things well.

In his defence these are some more ' in favour ' players that have similar issues. Adingra was poor last night and looked lazy in his defensive duties. Minteh looks promising and does track back well but does have a habit of dribbling down blind alleys.

Never getting anywhere near £40m for him.

Up until recently I thought we could work with him here, and develop him through.

With the sheer number of attacking players we have now though, I fear his route to first team football is blocked unless he makes a massive (unrealistic?) improvement from his current levels.

He’s clearly willing to rock the boat if he isn’t getting his own way, so I personally wouldn’t be averse to a parting of the ways, either on loan to see if he can progress further in an environment with more game time, or a sale provided there’s a hefty percentage of next sale involved.
