Encisco's agents are probably in the same South American gangster mould as Caceido's. They want that big move for him to make them a fortune for themselves.
In the Wolves away game at the start of last season he was amazing. The first half in that game was the best I have ever seen a Brighton team perform.
In an ideal world the lad would be humble and show gratitude for the club being patient with last seasons injuries and getting him back to full fitness and wait for his opportunity to play and fulfill his potential.
As I said at the start this is not about him. It's about the people managing him and sadly it's not the club.

If he goes on loan, it has to be a premier club otherwise it's pointless. The only problem is, the most logical fit for him is .... would we dare?

Caicedo changed his agents when with us. They were European based when he moved to Chelsea

Any top 5 league would be fine. Championship as well but don't think he'd want that.

If you imply maybe loaning him to Palace, it isn't happening. There's too much oomph in him so no, we wouldn't dare.

If FH sticks around I think you can take it Enciso is gone. Not even been given a chance, dropped from the squad of a team who have been shit in creating in two consecutive games is mind boggling to me.
How is it mind boggling when you have next to no knowledge of the situation?

Given how ineffective with plenty of game time Adingra has been since game 2 of the season and having seen Enciso with a run of games for the last couple of seasons I’ll stick to finding it mind boggling that he has been dropped from the squad completely.

hi, yes, agree - I think if he went to Italy or Spain and he played well, he might not want to come back, and that might work out for us too if one of the big clubs took him for a good sum.
If Premier League, we can't send him to i) somewhere to warm the bench or ii) hopeless relegation contender - both would be bad for his morale.

With Paraguay on the cusp of achieving qualification to the 2026 World Cup. National team boss, Gustavo Alfaro, is now concerned that his senior stars will be out of sorts for the final CONMEBOL qualifiers in 2025, calling on both Julio Enciso and Miguel Almiron to consider exits from Brighton and Newcastle, respectively, in next month's trading period.

Enciso has so, so much potential, I mean he was incredible in that 22/23 season, but his attitude recently has let him down. He is too selfish in my opinion and always wants to score the next wonder goal. That injury against Wolves didn't help and he hasn't been the same since.

I love Enciso personally, I think he has incredible potential but I don't see Brighton being the right club for him. Perhaps with another Paraguayan coming into the squad, Diego Gomez, he may thrive again however I think he would be better suited elsewhere. Honestly, I could see him working well with De Zerbi again. This time at Marseille.

He’s been given several chances this season but hasn’t taken them. As for the team being "shit in creating", that’s total nonsense. Didn’t see the Fulham game but we created tons of chances against Leicester. The problem was not taking those chances. Enciso, on recent form, wouldn’t have been the answer. His main ambition seems to be to duplicate his magnificent long-range goals against Chelsea and City the season before last. He needs a shake-up to help make him a team player again. A loan would be good news for all.

If and it's a big if he's on his way out then for us to be willingly let a player of his talent leave is nothing but a good sign to me that we consider our other options to be better.
It may sound daft looking at it from our point of view but Hurzeler obviously thinks he's already got better or is going to get better players in that position.

For what it's worth (fek all) i hope he stays and works out how to play the way Hurzeler obviously wants him too, because at the moment it's quite clear he'll be a FA Cup starter and not much else in between.

Do we know how FH wants him to play? I couldn’t really tell you tbh.

My stab in the dark would be similar to how Pedro Rutter Welbeck find each other,if one of those 3 go missing then our forward play becomes a little less structured imo, asking Julio to be a link up player as well as a goal of the season player looks like it's a step too far at the moment.
We all know he has fantastic ability but he's not been Mr consistent at any point of his time here, just glimpses of talent,he lacks awareness in tight spots and his ability to hit the deck with a gust of wind yanks my chain a bit.
The most important thing is he has time on his side, and no doubt Julio will do well either sticking it out here or somewhere else.

Start him in place of.....who?
Good question.

I’d leave Mitoma on the bench as insurance. I think Mitoma has the ability to change a match more than any player in our squad. We need an ace under the table.

As for Enciso, he looks totally focused on the match (rather than his phone) this morning.

Would probably be less mind-boggling if you were watching him in training every day and having regular meetings with him, discussing it with the other coaches, the team psychologist, the S&C coach and reviewing data and clips from the analysts :)
