el-Abd is a legend, and you lot are bell-ends.

Credit to him, he's not just there to turn up for his wages, he feels like crap when the team lose and he has a bad game.
I think his performances have been affected by crowd reactions at Withdean lately, and you all ought to apologise to him and thank him for being a revelation over the season.

I don't normally agree with your posts on a variety of subjects but you have this one spot on.

In fairness, I think thats a minimum requirement for every single member of that squad. It doesn't make him a "legend".

It never fails to amuse me how the worrd LEGEND is use in this day and age.

Adam El Abd is good player who is paid well and performs well over the season.

I used to think the benchmark of LEGEND was mimimum Steve Foster but Peter Ward epitomised the word.

TWATS.

? He seems to have changed from someone who once had a bit of drive and potential into a half-arsed thug of a player with a chip on his shoulder.

Based on one game where he lost his temper?

I think that is a bit harsh. I believe that it is more to do with 'the midfield destroyers ' role that he has been given.. Generally I think that he has performed well this season and would not wish to see him go to one of our opponents.

He has acted thuggish in a number of games this season, being held back from opponents at Bradford springs to mind.

He was hardly held back. The ref had a word with him as they left the field at half time. We can't hear what the players are saying to each other whilst they're on the field but it is well known that they wind each other up. Some have shorter fuses than others especially the younger inexperienced ones.
