I absolutely agree that he'd come back for more and attack other countries too if he can. The only thing that will stop him is force, which is why we must help provide that force.
It's funny, because when I merely posted something similar – 'Personally, I think there will only REALLY be peace when Russia has control of Ukraine. Or enough of Ukraine to keep Putin happy.' – you accused me of having 'totally fallen for Russian propaganda'.

And yet here we are...

I agree that the only thing that will stop him will be force but that is going against the 'peace' that the bellend in the White House keeps wanging on about (although I clearly don't believe a word he says, nor think he knows what he's doing).

Edit: I guess I should add – before I get accused of anything else – that I am CLEARLY on the side of Ukraine and think that it should get ALL of its land back and the Russians should fack off out of there as soon as possible. If that means a show of force from Europe, then that's absolutely what should happen. My main point is that the ties between the US and Russia seem to be getting closer by the day, which makes a mockery of any kind of fair conclusion to the shitshow there.

Next, our man with a plan, Donald Trumpskaya, turns his focus to negotiating with Iran with <checks notes> mediation by Russia.

Is it time for the Ayatollah to be invited to the White House for some public hairdryer treatment?
I also heard him say yesterday / the day before that he had stopped a war that no-one else knew was about to start. He's a busy chap isn't he....

The only way that can be possible is if he was the one thinking about starting it and then changed his mind.
Which to be fair, is very plausible.

Wouldn't work be so much simpler if we could just all say "Oh yeah I've done loads of things that you don't even know about" then provide zero evidence to support the statement and promptly saunter down to the pub?

What a life.

For a guy who claims to be all 'America First', he seems to spend a lot of time trying to sort out other parts of the world. Clearly for his own/US gain, but, even so...

And now I've just had an alert he is 'strongly considering large-scale sanctions on Russia'. Yeah mate, course you are

Have we all had a depressed chuckle at this yet?

Images of "Enola Gay," the aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima in Japan are among those targeted by the U.S. military in an initiative to eliminate content related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

They are among a number of photos unrelated to DEI that have been mistakenly flagged, including those from an Army Corps of Engineers dredging project in California, seemingly because an engineer in the image had the last name "Gay."

Just about sums up the level of intellect behind these anti-woke, anti-dei, anti-anythingevenslightlyprogressivebecauseitfrightensandconfusesus dickheads.

And now he's welcoming immigration.

Whilst intending to deport 240,000 Ukrainian refugees.

Can't be anything to do with Musk being South African, surely.

That is not at all similar. There is a huge difference between what Putin wants to do, and what he's capable of doing. I agree with you on what he wants to do. It's Russian propaganda to believe he can do it.

The easiest way for Russia to get victory in Ukraine is to make everyone believe that it's inevitable. The sort of propaganda/shill statements we're used to reading include being told that giving weapons to Ukraine means the conflict will go on longer and so more Ukrainians will die. It's complete bullshit and Russian propaganda. If the world believes that Ukraine can't win, then the world might as well stop supporting them, and Ukrainians themselves might as well stop fighting a lost cause, in which case Russia would win. But the actual truth is that if Ukraine is supported, then Russia cannot win.

Your belief that Russia will get full control of Ukraine is Russian propaganda. That doesn't mean you're wrong to think it's Putin's goal.

To be fair to @Greg Bobkin, I think he is actually saying the same thing. Putin wants the whole of Ukraine, and won't stop until he gets it (unless Russia collapses) - and therefore there won't be real peace unless he does. He's not saying that he will get it all or that he believes Putin will.
