@BadFish

And this is an example of what you just posted. An example of a devoted supporter in the heart of America, Crawley I believe, who's only comments are to say how great the speech is or how big his mandate was.

Ask them for specifics and they either grunt or look blankly.

So @spence help us here and answer this question.

How do you feel that working class Americans will be affected by the current tarrifs being imposed on other nations and the reciprocate actions ?

How much do you align with the statement from one of Trump's senators that health care should not be the responsibility of the government ?

We'll start with those two.
That’s not going to work as your question doesn’t contain ‘immigrant, foreigners, the Left , woke or racist prick’ in it, so @spence won‘t understand a word of it.

I believe Spence to be a contrarian and troll. He has no great love of Trump or his policies. He just likes to observe our discussion and smirk at our concerns.

He won't answer your questions because he hasn't thought deeply on the subject. His thoughts are limited to 'Trump is upsetting people and I like it'.

I'm beginning to wonder when those who think all patriots are great will realise that Trump patriot will end up wanting what farage patriot also wants?

Think about the commonwealth. We were told we didn't need the eu and needed to gain closer ties with the commonwealth by farage and others. But Canada who has King Charles as sovereign is also wanted by Trump who wants to be its president.

So which side do the patriots take?

Whichever makes them more wealthy and gives them more chance of power.

I think this thread gives living proof that it’s not just Americans that have been sucked in by the lying and worrying ramblings of the buffoon.
Very few though, in reality. The general consensus of the vast majority of Brits is that they are absolutely dispicable individuals - that's quite clear now if it wasn't before this second term!

AKA "Owning the libs" - doesn't help the US poor, but makes Trump supporters feel better, because it allows them to share in the hatred of minorities; 'punching-down'.

Many Trump supporters are like the pathetic kid(s) at school who were non-entities and Johnny-no-mates on their own, but ingratiated themselves with the playground bully, and hid behind him while insulting others and acting big.

Serious question: Has Trump left the USA since he was elected (or is he banned/frightened from doing so, as he is a convicted criminal)?

The use of the term' Patriot' by the likes of Trump and Farage is one of the great misappropriations of our time. Later this year we will celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE day. We will salute the true Patriots that not only fought (survived or died) for their country but also for the freedoms enshrined in democracy and so that future generations could continue to enjoy those freedoms. We are all part of that 'future generation'.

Trump & Farage are not fit to be inhabit the same world as these people who were true patriots but probably never even used the word themselves. The word has been hi jacked by the least deserving of the title for their own political, financial and egotistical gains.

So, in answer to your question: We side with, respect and salute such Patriots. There are no other versions.

His history of celebrating us losing and always turning up during the bad times but not the good has always made me treat him as such

Spot on.
Farage & Trump are no more patriots than Corbyn or Icke
