Also, if our opinions upset your sensibilities there is a handy ignore feature available to you…
If you believe in the possibility of infinite universes then there must exist a universe where Spence, Dwayne and Lasvegan have the rest of us on ignore and are just swapping laughing emojis with one another.

Demanding security guarantees, what does that even mean? Boots on the ground? European boots on the ground and a world war…Eff off, not happening.

What is reasonable for Zelenskyy to give up to get peace? I don’t know, but I know the alternative, carry on as you were…death.

Putin will probably stop at nothing…

Life is shit.
I’m very, very grateful that fifty years ago, people were made of sterner stuff than you.

With your cowardly attitude, the Nazi armies would have marched across the entire globe.

Now, more than anytime in the last 50 years, we need strength and unity. Not capitulation. And certainly not the likes of you or Trump.

Yes. Life can be shit. Man up or it gets a whole lot more shit.

You should see things from my perspective

Aside from the 'special relationship' which really evolved after WW2....
My question is why do we, the UK go cap in hand, pandering to this ginger haired buffoon.
It's like the European leaders are all scared of the school bully and are offering it treats just to be friends and be on their side in a fight.

Yeah, I guess Charles regret that invitation now. Hope they cancel it, to make some statement.
We all hope for a statement of some kind but nothing will happen the UK will keep their head down as we seem to be out of the trade and war of words Trump is taking with the EU. As we are seeing from the various statements everyone is happy to state their support for Ukraine but nobody is prepared to call out the US president or his thick antagonistic sidekick.

In this week alone we have had the president of Ukraine called a dictator, accused of propaganda tours by a VP, criticised for not being more diplomatic with Putin and other smears and they wonder why he is pissed.

Let’s be clear this US administration is no longer an ally of the world as we have seen with 4 weeks of baiting Canada, Mexico, EU, Ukraine and the imposition of global tariffs. In the meantime not a peep about Russia.

It’s not even subtle and time for the American people to start showing what they are actually about and stand for or in my mind they are complicit with the ugly direction their country is heading in.

Countries acted similarly to us when we were top dogs in the World pecking order. Just the way it is.

“Putin will probably stop at nothing”

Exactly. Putin will stop once Ukraine is nothing. Not only its borders, its spirit, its language, its culture. This is what he said he wants.

Then, he will move onto the next country on his list, and the next and the next. Until he has succeeded in restoring the USSR and its sphere of influence, which reached as far as Prague and Berlin.

“Life is shit”. When life gives you lemons, just suck it up, poindexter.

In 1940, there were people like you in Britain, even in the government. Just make peace with Hitler, we’re not gonna win this, so peace at all costs.

If those people had their way, Hitler may have beaten Russia. He wouldn’t had needed to divert so many troops and planes to North Africa or Western Europe. He could have sent his fleets into the Black Sea unhindered. Millions more Russian dead through genocide. Millions more Jews likewise.

Britain and its empire wouldn’t have been in the Pacific fight. America would have had no Australians to help them by fighting the Japanese army on the Kokoda Track. More American dead at Guadalcanal as a result.

British and Indian forces would not have been in Burma to resist the Japanese efforts to destroy the Burma Road that was keeping China’s desperate defence clinging on by its fingertips. No war in China? More Japanese forces concentrated on the USA. More American dead.

There would have been no NATO to standup to the USSR during the Cold War, assuming it did still defeat Hitler. It would have had better access to the Atlantic, unhindered by Europe.

Korean War? No support for the US from Britain’s Navy and Airforce. More American dead.

United Nations? No guarantee of Britain and Europe voting with the US.

Trade and economic relations…I could go on.

Do you see? Carrying on is death, yes. But so is giving in, more so and slower and more painful. This is what history teaches us, if only we bother to pay attention.

If you abandon one ally, you abandon them all. That is what Trump and Vance have just done, and for what? So they can turn to their sycophants and say “see, how tough we are”.

The anti-American sentiment is because those two men represent all Americans on the world stage. They were chosen by Americans to do it. And, in just one month, they’ve burnt it all down while empowering a war criminal and pandering to their own narcissism.

So, yeah, there’s anger. Because Americans did this, and that means it’s theirs to own. Life is shit like that.

Sorry, not just one or two people. It's pretty much all of the Republican party. Well all those when asked " Who started the war in Ukraine ? " and are unable to reply as they are in thrall to the ramblings of an idiot... the answer is Russia btw.
Quite..it’s all those in the Rep party, all the influencers, all the lickspittles n spivs that mindlessly parrot, suck up to and enable Trump et al that are the issue..Trump couldn’t be where he is now without them..look what they’ve created.
Make Americans Gullible Again.

You're right. I think it's refreshing though that Kaja Kallas says "the free world needs a new leader". She's tough, I like her!

The difference is Russia are a spent force. They might be able to bully a small country like Ukraine. But if they are given a little something to go away, they won't be back. Because if they do break their word they will be blown to smithereens especially if it's a NATO country they go after.

Russia's army and economy is already on its knees, Pootin just needs something to make it look like he had a 'victory'

That's my opinion anyway, I know most on here disagree. And now I'm gonna get a load of abuse again as I have a different opinion and harry Wilson's tackle will show everyone (for the 50th time) that he has me blocked.

So you're blaming the leader of a country that was invaded for and not stopping the war?

'Cool'.
There's two different things here!

Pootin is to blame for starting the war.

At this moment in time , zelensky is to blame for not trying hard enough to stop the war.
