Unfortunately UK is most likely next. Reform will win a protest vote next general election and another Putin's asset will take over here. Brexit was already an example of that.
No he won’t. Reform can’t even win council seats, at the moment.

Is anyone watching Trump's speech live on Sky? Totally rambling, delusional nonsense. No structure, no subject matter, just verbal diarrhoea.

What's worse is he's doubling down on a lot of the shit he said earlier about Zelenskyy's low ratings, being a terrible leader, no elections.
That's standard Trump, no?

They can still inflict more wounds on the Tories though. If Farage can say something vaguely supportive of Ukraine whilst Badenoch keeps quiet, that will help him.
Badenoch has apparently spoken, from the BBC:

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch also defended the Ukrainian leader, writing on X, external that Zelensky was "the democratically elected leader of Ukraine who bravely stood up to Putin's illegal invasion".

She needs to get on TV then. I doubt many people voting or contemplating voting Reform will pay much attention to the BBC because, you know, it should be defunded.

King Trump ??

CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED.” Trump posted to his Truth Social. “LONG LIVE THE KING!”

:ffsparr:
in the week of President's day, there's a delicious irony there. meanwhile New York continues charging congestion fees and says see you in court.

Like it or not ( and I hate it fwiw) what we're seeing is a right-wing wave across much of the West. Not sure Harris or anyone else could prevent this deep groundswell. Of course none of these charlatans can address people's cost of living so they focus on demonising others while enriching themselves.

Maybe take the long view and imagine a happier period in the 2030s.

Yep, it's not really a secret anymore, though it is becoming more global

The odds must be in favour of Trump trying to stay in power at the end of the term, Putin will do all he can to assist
All those people who were clinging to the constitution are hopefully realizing now that the constitution means nothing.

Now Trump is looking at deep cuts to the DoD. I always thought a military coup in the US was an absolute impossibility. I feel like it's moving slowly towards a maybe.

The military swear allegiance to the constitution. Not to the president (although expect him to try to change that).
