Trump is a petulant child who will never accept receiving home truths - just look at his utterly insane reaction to Zelensky calling it as it is, that Trump is "trapped in a Russian disinformation bubble". Much as there would be some satisfaction to see Starmer shred Trump on live TV, all it would achieve is Trump doubling-down on his lunacy.

GB is not a big player in all this. Starmer can make the right noises, but sadly it will have zero influence on the Orange Shitler, as I saw him referred to on here earlier. He'll literally do whatever the f*ck he wants.

As for referencing the Americans who fought and died and are buried in Europe for standing against tyranny - Trump (who dodged the draft 5 times during the Vietnam war) once referred to them as "losers". He's not the full ticket.
Sadly you are right.

If Starmer came armed with a video showing Trump and Putin discussing about how to steal Ukranian wealth and siphon the money into their private bank accounts, Trump would just say 'fake news' and 70 million Maga oafs, plus @spence would applaud.

Just far enough away from LDC
if Harris had been a more competent politican with some foresight, she'd have seen Biden was coming up short, prepared and built a base. the VP is expected to be a President in waiting, from very early on people in the party said they'd made an error.
I see your point but being a president in waiting to take over someone's position is different from forging your own position. That's why vice presidents rarely get elected straight away. Prior to Biden who Sat out a term George bush did and lyndon b johnson in difficult circumstances (but he didn't stand for a second time in his own right) in relatively modern times, as did coolidge and roosevelt in 30s. But hubert humphrey, nixon, gore, mondale all lost at their 1st or only attempt

Yes, the c**t won't change his mind, neither will most of the sheep following him, but every little chink helps. Go Starmer - embarrass the c**t on national TV live if you get the chance!
Trump may be a bumbling idiot, but the people around him are not. They’ve cultivated an entire right wing media echo chamber which has the MAGA types believing up is down, they wouldn’t have been able to do that without being extremely canny, Trump is just the useful idiot frontman for their dream. It’s Government by Breitbart. There is no way those individuals would let Starmer anywhere near Trump to do this, they might lead an online smear campaign against him but they know full well the threat he would pose in this sort of scenario. Truth must never be allowed to seep into the alternative world they’ve built up online.

Sir Alex Younger (Head of M15 until 2020) has just said on Newsnight that he believes this will end in abject humiliation for Trump.
But seeing the way Trump responds to the mildest of criticism, what will that unleash in him?

Hard to recall that back in November, I was looking forward to all his trials and probable convictions. All gone.

With Harris, it felt there was a lot of hope that she’d use the VP role to build momentum, yet she seemed to fade from public view and disappear the entire term (it might not have been her fault).

I understand what they were doing with Biden, as he was always strong against Trump because of his support from unions, which made him a tough opponent in key swing states, but I thought they'd recognise age, and prime Kamala for the job over that term. By the time he stepped down, it was too late to do that.

He should have handed the Presidency to Harris when he dropped out of the election.

Trump is right about Ukraine starting the conflict. Just like Poland started WWII.

There's a lot of rewriting of history here. Harris was ahead in the polls for ages, pulled in endorsements left, right and centre and loads of people thought/expected her up win at some point. Especially after the second debate, which seemed to do for Tump that the first one did for Biden.

Then Trump got shot, doubled down on the cost of eggs, complained about dogs and cats getting eating by people from "insane asylums" and the momentum started to shift. I don't think any candidate would've beaten Trump because of his cult-like status.

Still, they really dodged a bullet (no pun intended) not voting the Dems in, eh?

Is anyone watching Trump's speech live on Sky? Totally rambling, delusional nonsense. No structure, no subject matter, just verbal diarrhoea.

What's worse is he's doubling down on a lot of the shit he said earlier about Zelenskyy's low ratings, being a terrible leader, no elections.

Silly bugger.

All he had to do was play it cool, avoid jail and collect his money.

But he has decided to be a World Leader.

I can see trouble ahead.
But mostly for him.

You can be the most handsome man, but if you flop out your dick into the palm of the hostess...
You may have to say goodbye to your bollocks.

When the Star and Mail are on the side of a Labour PM, you should know your traction in the UK, at least, has gone.
@spence and chums won't save the day for you now

Unfortunately UK is most likely next. Reform will win a protest vote next general election and another Putin's asset will take over here. Brexit was already an example of that.
Maybe not.

Let's see who lines up on which side now.

Farage won't keep his support if he sides with Putin. FFS.
And if he sides with Starmer.....well, it's dilemma time.
